Just a quick note

Hey everyone, Thank you all so much for reading this far, I really appreciate it and would be grateful for any feedback. I know some of you are eager to find out the next bit of the story and Daryl's curse, and for those thinking he may be a bit of a lousy Alpha, all will be revealed I promise but i am going to be away from tomorrow the 17th until the 21st of September with very limited internet access but when I am back, I will be doing a bulk upload for you all.

Daryl and Paige had changed the subject once I had declared my intent, often giving me worrying glances but I had already decided that I wasn’t going to be this feeble weakling anymore and that I was going to train harder than anyone else. I kept my mouth shut as they talked, mostly about the curse, Paige told Daryl that she had been in touch with another witch who may be able to help but I was worried. With Paige it was different, they had grown up together, maybe that’s why they had respect for each other but bringing in a new witch that had no connections had me feeling uneasy and I knew Daryl could feel my thoughts on it. After a few hours Cole arrives with a car and picks us up, taking us back to Crescent pack, he had seen Hayden’s body but had said nothing, again I don’t know if Daryl had told him to keep his mouth shut. Please hold on for chapter 38, I uploaded 37 twice by mistake and just need my editor to adjust it Christian left me alone in the library to look through the book, he asked several times before leaving if I was going to be okay, I was lying through my teeth when I repeatedly told him I would be okay but kept a smile on my face and thankfully he didn’t see through it. Thumbing through the book, I found a family tree, there was my name right at the very bottom whilst Amber's name didnt appear anywhere. Next to everyones name except for mine was the word deceased. As I turned the pages there were drawings of what the author thought was my monster but the more pages I flipped through, the more the images changed and began to resemble me and the way I looked when I shifted. I don’t run, something tells me that Daryl will come after me if he hears or senses me running, but I walk quickly whilst making my way through the hallways, I still had a job to remember where I was going but it was getting a little easier each day. Heading out the front door, I check behind me, there was still no sign of Daryl but I was certain he would be watching me or have others watching. I couldn’t see it, I just couldn’t imagine Daryl as a weak little boy, nor could I picture him being bullied ever, he was a mountain of muscles, he kept himself to himself and only spoke if he had something to say and I had seen the fear in peoples faces when they had registered Daryl and who he was. Alpha Daryl 42. Poisoned
The sound of his voice appears in my head regularly yet I had no clue who was speaking or what they were saying, when I look at the man who was driving, his eyes were firmly fixed on the road ahead but his jaw was clenched giving him a strong defined jaw line.He glances at me and smiles, but the smile doesn’t reach his eyes, oh my goddess, I am being kidnapped.He reaches a hand out, but I pull away, squishing myself into the space between the seat and the door. The man with the shaven head looks at me concerned and leans further over, telling me something about sitting in my seat and when I don't move, he pulls me back on to my seat.My head was starting to hurt and the scratching in my head was becoming more and more persistent, the man driving pulls out a phone and starts talking to someone but his words are muffled as he spoke and he kept glancing at me. Alpha Daryl 43. Angering the Alpha
After a couple of days, things started to make sense again. I understood now that Paige had poisoned me because I had challenged her over her feelings towards Daryl, it turned out the little dab of wolfsbane worked in keeping Daryl out of my head but not in helping me to heal, it was why the poison was having such a bad effect on me because I was unable to heal and it was clear Paige knew exactly what she was doing when she offered me that banana that was laced in poison.Christian and Daryl had taken it in turns to stay with me and Daryl had forgiven me for not having a clue who he was and for choosing Christian over him but only once he found out the severity of what the poison could do to me. Christian was still finding it hilarious that I chose him and was constantly winding Daryl up over it but now with everything happening if Daryl wasn’t with me then Christian was the only one allowed to be. For some reason Jordan wasn’t even allowed to guard me anymore and

I refused to answer any of his questions and when he told me I would be punished for refusing to obey, I just shrug my shoulders because I knew that my silence was getting under his skin.He marched me all the way to our bedroom and told me that if I wasn’t talking I could stay here until I was ready to talk. He turns and walks away, not even glancing back and pulls the door tightly shut. A few moments later it was followed by the turn of the lock. The asshole had locked me in.Fine, if he wanted to play it that way, then I would figure out a way to escape. I checked the windows but they were all locked too although there was one that he had forgotten about, the bathroom window. It was small but then so was I and I reckon I could just about fit.Climbing up onto the basin, I push the window, which just about opened all the way without swinging back on me, it was a long drop down, but anything had to be better than staying here.
