Chapter 5

Black's POV

"What do you wanna do, you nut?"

Yvette sat on the ground, looking pathetic. Her eyes were filled with sorrow.

For some reason, I felt kinda uncomfortable.

But I just ignored the feeling. "Don't worry. I won't lay a finger on a cunning and phony bitch like you again," I said to her.

She paled at my words, which vexed me even more.

She was such a pain in the ass, always affecting my moods.

I turned around, ready to leave. Suddenly, I stopped and eyed her coldly, saying, "If you don't want any more suffering, give me my child. Or, I swear I'll make your life a living hell."

 

With that, I walked out of the old residential building and got into my sports car.

Soon, I returned to my castle-like villa.

It was located deep in the forest. And I spent a lot of money building it. There were guards patrolling the outskirts of the forest, so humans and other werewolves could never get near it.

After I got home, I immediately went to my bathroom and took a shower.

I couldn't believe that woman lived in such a small apartment. Even my bathtub was bigger than her bathroom.

 

Cleaning myself up, I leaned back on the sofa. An Omega came over and poured me a glass of wine. When I cast a glance at her, she immediately cracked a charming smile.

"Get out!" I roared. Frightened, she immediately ran out of the living room.

"Alpha Black, the guards brought Yvette back." My Beta Aubrey Ward came in.

He used to be my father's Beta. After I succeeded to the throne, he became my Beta.

At the thought of the pitiful expression on that woman's face, I was miffed.

I said, "Let the guards continue to interrogate her. I'll watch in the monitoring room."

 

Leaving Aubrey with work, I came to the monitoring room alone. There were a dozen screens here, each connecting to a camera in my villa.

When I turned on the screen, the guards had already pushed Yvette into the interrogation room.

One of them tied her to the chair.

Looking at Yvette's dull face, I frowned. 'Why did she act like this? I don't get it.

I was wise not to interrogate her personally, or she'd piss me off again,' I thought to myself as I downed the wine.

 

Soon, the voice of my guard came from the speakers.

"Miss Schwartz, you'd better be cooperative," said a guard standing opposite Yvette. "Where did you hide Alpha Black's child?"

"I've said it. I ain't got no kids, let alone hide them," Yvette replied in a feeble voice.

"I suggest you stop lying," another guard said testily.

"Can you please let me go?" pleaded Yvette.

"You messed with the wrong guy. Have you any idea who Alpha Black is? He can easily crush you with a lift of his finger. Come on, just tell the truth."

I nodded in satisfaction, agreeing with what he had said.

 

The two guards then took turns questioning, but Yvette's answer remained the same.

"Why are you so stubborn!" The guard was running out of patience.

I rubbed my forehead, feeling annoyed.

While I was considering whether to ask her myself, the captain of the guards who had been supervising aside spoke up.

His tone was full of disdain. "You're trying to approach Alpha Black with the kid, right? Truth is, there are loads of girls longing to sleep with him. You're nothing special."

"Bullshit! Let me out! I don't wanna see him ever again!" yelled Yvette.

 

I couldn't help but sneer. No she-wolves were immune to my charm. I'd give you that.

And she obviously enjoyed the sex.

"Yeah, right. Alpha Black doesn't give a shit about you," said the captain. Then he reached for Yvette's breasts. She let out an angry roar.

I furrowed my brows. Though she wasn't my girl, I was still displeased with such behavior.

My wolf Leo began to fret. I could tell he was furious.

 

"What's wrong?" I couldn't help asking him.

Yet he didn't respond. He just kept howling in my mind, making my headache worse.

The captain clearly wanted more than just to take advantage of Yvette. He ripped her clothes apart, revealing her smooth skin.

As an inexplicable anger surged in me, I finally snapped.

I rushed to the interrogation room and kicked the door open.

"Alpha Black?" A wolf guard looked at me in surprise.
