CHAPTER 62 | What happened?
Charlotte groaned as she shifted her body. When she opened her eyes, she was met with a white ceiling that was completely in contrast with the dark brown wood of her cottage. With furrowed brows, she turned in the bed….and then something clicked.
Azraiel’s house…
Shit…she is in Azraiel’s house….
“How are you feeling?” Charlotte jumped in surprise as Ayleen’s voice startled her. She was sitting on the left side of the bed.
“I….I am fine...but...tired?” Charlotte muttered in a low voice, confused as well as exhausted.
“What happened...? Why am I here?” She asked Ayleen. Did she pass out?
Ayleen opened her mouth to say answer her question but at that moment the door of the room flew open and Azraiel rushed in ….only pausing and breathing once he roamed his eyes all over her.
Why the hell is he looking at me like that?
Charlotte was becoming more and more confused.
