“Nooo!!!” my eyes flung up as my heart pounded hard in my chest. I just woke up from a nightmare, one that left me feeling shaken and uneasy. As I tried to gather my thoughts, the door to my room opened, and my mate walked in, his face filled with concern.

“What's wrong?” he asked

“Did you have a bad dream?” Axel sounded tired, his voice so weary and I really don't want him to worry too much.

“Yes, it's nothing.” I faked a smile pulling him into a hug.

I missed his touch.

“Oh- do you want to go out?” The worry still lies on his face.

“No, it's nothing Axel and you look exhausted, you need rest.” I tried to sit him down, but he resisted, a frown now replaced with the worries that were there.

“How many times do I have to tell you that I won't be too exhausted to have my time with you? Forget about thinking of a way to change my mind, I want to take you somewhere special tonight.” He gave me no room for hesitation.

“What about the mating ceremony?” I tried to come up with
