Two Days and three nights Part Two . . . As I stood at the edge of the vast forest clearing, my senses were overwhelmed by the sights and sounds of the unfamiliar Alpha King burial ceremony. The air was thick with an aura of solemnity and reverence, as if the very trees whispered secrets of ancient rituals. Beside me stood Kaden, my mate and now the heir to the werewolf throne. His presence offered a reassuring anchor amidst the sea of unfamiliar faces, his hand clasping mine tightly, providing both strength and solace. We had traveled from our own pack for a meeting to deliberate on the King's death and the Queen's disappearance but here we are now paying our respects to the fallen werewolf king whose murderer was still unknown , though he was a monarch I had never met but he was one whose legacy loomed large in the hearts of his subjects and Kaden's as well , this king was his uncle after all, and this King reign was a one without war, that was something to really be proud of.
