Chapter 24

I’ve been thinking of what to tell Jessica, Roger said I have to come up with a lie, something she wouldn’t doubt, I told him to come up with something and then tell her but just like all lover birds, in a second, she will find out that he’s lying. I have been pacing around for over two minutes now, I don’t want to come up with a ridiculous excuse that will make Jessica suspicious about something. At first, I wanted to use the excuse ‘Going for a walk' but I remember clearly when I told Jessica that I don’t like going for walks especially when the sun is shining bright, and even if I tell her that I changed my mind, going for a walk is a less excuse to finish party arrangement. I continued pacing around but stopped when I heard a knock on the door, finally someone that understands the term privacy.
