Chapter 44

Even though Jason told me not to leave the house, I figured it won’t hurt anyone if I go shopping with Jessica and by the way, my shopping plans with Jessica is between me and her, no one has to know anything about it when I say no one I mean Jason in particular. I wonder what’s the big deal in letting me leave the house when he’s not around.

I stepped into my room, grabbed my purse, applied lipstick, and chapped my lips. I smiled at my reflection before heading out. If Jason was here he would have complimented me; probably say something like, you look pretty or beautiful; his compliment words end and start with beautiful and pretty. As I walked into the living room, I sat on the couch waiting for Jess.

Once she head out of her room, we walked out of the house and then slipped into the car. I watched her as she sat in the driver's seat.
