Chapter 9

"Mrs. Tyler Banasiewicz." A man said as he walked into the living room

Mrs. Tyler Banasiewicz, seriously! We aren’t married yet stop addressing me as a Mrs when I’m still a Miss.

"Yes" I responded

"Your limo is ready," He said before he walked out of the house

I’m already wearing the gown, and as much as I hate to say this but I think it’s time for the wedding. I turned back and looked at the stylist "Thank you." I smile

"You’re welcome." She responded, "Ma’am please where are you going?" She asked as she noticed I was about to step outside the house

"It’s time, isn’t it?"

"Not yet, ma’am, you aren’t prepared yet, the dress is incomplete, and you aren’t wearing the other wedding accessories."

For a moment, I forgot about all that, looks like this wedding thing is messing with my head. I walked closer to her as I sat on a makeover chair.

Soon after she was done, I wore a hair accessory that complimented the dress, a wedding shoe that is comfortable enough to dance the night away, although I don’t see a reason why I will dance. A diamond-designed clutch bag for the wedding day essentials. Incredible traditional wedding jewelry that created an extra sparkle. I felt like I was wearing a whole diamond set, it was very heavy, and not gonna lie it was very beautiful. The stylist was about to wrap a shrug around my shoulder but I stopped her, I’m wearing enough heavy clothes, and putting on a shrug will make it heavier for me.

"I think that’s enough for today," I said while standing up from the chair

"You look lovely Ivy." Mom said as she walked closer to me. I smiled at her and she held my hands and walked toward the door direction

"Thank you once again." I smile as I turned and looked at the stylist and fashion designer who were already packing their things.

Immediately as I walked out of the house, a few bodyguards, or should I see a bunch of bodyguards were waiting for my arrival, they came with several cars, some were Bentley while some were Benz, in the middle of the cars is a packed limousine

"Please allow me." He said as he opened the limousine door. I nodded in agreement as I turned back I saw mom sited in another car. "Maybe this limo is only meant for the bride." I thought before I entered the car.

Once I sat in the limo, I folded my hands in my lap as I twirled my thumbs around each other, it is basically a habit I have whenever I get too nervous. I felt my legs sticking to my gown even though the gown isn’t made of silk and the air conditioner was blasting yet it couldn’t cool my nerves. I have never felt this nervous before.

"We are here ma’am."

Oh lord, it’s time I should have run away when I had the chance. I let out a breath before I grabbed onto my purse and was about to open the door, but someone beat me to that. I got out of the car and glanced at the man that opened the door. I was too nervous to say a word, I really wish Barbara was here to comfort me. As I turned around I saw a mom who was walking in my direction, that’s a relief at least I’m not completely alone.

I looked at the view, I wasn’t surprised that the wedding would take place in the house, as they wanted to have a simple wedding. The house, well it’s a mansion if not bigger than that, it is incredibly beautiful, gigantic, and cold. Nothing about this house had any character. It was perfect for anyone in the best way. The only thing that calmed my nerves as I walked toward their lawn was the loud rush of the water fountain behind me.

The lawn was filled with lots and lots of candles, special seating areas, and overall greenery and flowers, and the setting and the details of garden weddings are all incredibly whimsical and romantic. There is a set up of several different stations with a variety of drinks…spigot containers filled with lemonade, tea, or fruit-infused water, mini bottles of water with custom water bottle labels, and iced down sodas. The color palette brings to mind: feminine, soft, and charmingly romantic. From the moment I step my foot onto the lawn, these tones set the mood that something extremely special is about to happen in this space.

I looked over to the altar, Tyler was already standing there waiting for my arrival, there weren’t many guests there, or should I say there weren’t any guests, the person standing behind Tyler is who I thought is his older brother Jason but after I walked closer to him I realized it person standing behind him is a lot younger than him.

As I stood in the wedding spotlight, Tyler smiled at me before he whispered something under his breath. "Let’s just get this over with," I muttered as I smiled back at him rolling my eyeballs

"Shall we begin the wedding?" The pastor asked

If we are not gonna begin the wedding now, what the hell do you think we are standing doing?

Tyler nodded in agreement before the pastor continued talking.

"This ring will become a symbol of love and everlasting love because of the circle's cyclical and eternal character. If you exchange engagement rings, you are symbolically vowing that you will love and be devoted to one another for the rest of your lives together"

I rolled my eyes as the pastor continued, he is so dramatic can’t he just say all he had to say in one single sentence?

"Today we are all gathered here to witness the joining of two souls of the union who ever have any objections say it or forever hold your peace," He said as he brought the ring and handed it over to Tyler.

He held my hand in his and was about to put the ring when a voice yelled "I object"

What did he just say? I looked over at the man, he was handsome and almost rugged looking with the sight stubble on his face. His chocolate brown hair was tousled most stylishly and his brown eyes almost had a golden tone on them. I’m assuming he is Tyler’s older brother Jason because he looks exactly like his dad if not a younger version of him.

"Stop the wedding." He said in a deep calm pitch

Why does he want to stop the wedding? Not that I wanna get married but I wanted to know the reason behind him stopping at the wedding.

"Jason, what are you doing?" His dad said trying not to yell

He didn’t answer his question as he glanced at me and grabbed Tyler’s hands "We will be back." He said before he walked away with him.
