After what Darius and Thea suggested, Lucifer went outside to clear his head.
'Thea is right. After 5 days, I have to go back. Where will that leave me and Anber?' he thought?
'I saw her face that day, she is telling the truth. She is confused about our relationship. How can I force her to think and decide faster? It's unfair to her and me. She needs time, which I don't have with me. Once I go back, I will be busy with my work and I wouldn't be able to come here that often' he thought with regret.
"What should I do?" Lucifer thought.
He walked around the mansion and sat there on the shore of the lake. His head is muddled with his hopeless thoughts.
Amber saw Lord Lucifer walking away from the living area. His question still fresh in her mind.
'Will say yes if I propose you?' He asked her a few days ago.
The answer is still not clear for Amber. But the thought of him leaving her and going back to the underworld

After they recovered from the initial shock, Darius, Lucifer, and Lucian get down to the problem at hand.They are trying to figure out, how Lucian recovered. They wanted to know that the infection just reduced itself or it is something else.They walked into the basement, where a lot of infected vampires are locked away. But none of them are showing any signs of recovery. They are all looking the same.
