Chapter 13 : CHLOE'S POV

Samantha's eyes flashed with anger, her voice dripping with malice. "You think you can just walk away from this, Chloe? You're in too deep now. If you try to back out, I'll make sure you regret it."

I stood my ground, refusing to be intimidated by Samantha's threats. "I'm not afraid of you, Samantha," I said, my voice steady despite the fear coursing through me. "I won't let you manipulate me any longer."

Samantha's lips curled into a sinister smile. "You're making a big mistake, Chloe," she sneered. "But if that's the way you want to play it, so be it. Just remember, you brought this upon yourself."
