Chapter Sixteen

JASON

“Just let me be, Ty.” I drawled, downing the seventh shot of tequila I had ordered for in one gulp.

I had arrived at a club just a few poles away from the apartment, wanting to just grab a drink, and head upstairs to the hotel there, but just as I was getting into my groove, Tyler had called, asking where I was and what was happening. I couldn’t lie to my twin, so I had just told him, and he had arrived there in a few minutes.

Now, we just sat next to each other, going over the events that had taken place from the day we read the will, to the time we stepped out of that courtroom, and I was more than sure, that I hadn’t told anyone else about it.

At least for now, there were no rumors about the will. That was confidential.

“How am I supposed to know who leaked the info, Ty? It could be Elena. She’s the one who would gain from all of this at the end, isn’t she?” I asked, raising my hand to the bartender to bring two more shots.
