After bidding our goodbyes to our friends we walked out of the club.

Music was blasting inside the club. Therefore, when I come outside, I am met with a serene environment as the bustling of music is very low outside.

Karan went to the parking lot to get his bike as I was waiting for him at the entrance of the club.

I was enjoying the peaceful environment when I heard the most annoying voice in the world. Monica’s voice.

“So, you believe him?” she asked.

I looked at her in confusion and most in annoyance.

“What you want?” I asked a little annoyed.

“Nothing, I just want to remind you as we know each other since we were in kindergarten that men cannot be trusted, especially those who are ambitious.” She smirked and with that, she turned around and entered the club again.

As I was thinking about the meaning of her words, I heard Karan’s voice.

He had returned with his bike. I looked up at him and smiled.
