Ruined Again

BENJAMIN'S POV:-

The morning of the court proceedings, my parents visited my villa out of the blue. After whatever happened between Charlotte and my mother, and how my mother decided to interfere in my business, I made my own decision to separate. I knew I should have done it the moment my mother started a war against Charlotte. But I was just too foolish to see that. They saw my son for the first time and the child she used to call a bastard for thirteen years, became her beloved grandson.

Charlie came home with me and has been living with me ever since. I was looking at my reflection in the mirror. Leaving Charlie with my parents, I went to get ready. He was not a baby but he was not old enough to be by himself either. I walked out of my room, excited to see Charlotte again. As I reached the living room, my legs froze the moment I heard my mother talking about Charlotte to my son.

"She was bitter. No matter how much your father tried to make her fall for him, she just didn't budge.
