Author’s POV

A car was seen driving down the quiet street, inside the car was Mateo who was returning home really angry, even his driver only peeped at him from the rear mirror he didn’t dare to make a sound, he knew it might land him to his death, his chauffeur finally pulled in front of a big mansion, Mateo alighted from his car and was instantly welcome by his maid.

“Welcome Alpha Mateo.” She greeted them with courtesy, but he ignored her like a pesky bug and stormed into the house

His Maid who had instantly noticed his bad mood didn’t bother to press further but there was a really important pressing matter that he needed to attend to instantly.

“The men from the territory dispute are here.” She cleared her throat and announced.

“Why are they here again?” Mateo groaned getting more angry.

The maid didn’t dare to say a word rather than stay quiet. After seeing that Mateo had called down a little she continued.

“They are waiting for you in the meeting room.” She added.
