Bella’s POV

What in the mother freaking world is he talking about? I was staring at Klaus in shock and utter disbelief, he didn’t have an ounce of jest in his tone and that alone rang trouble in our midst.

Klaus mom looked as if she’s seen a ghost while his dad had a deep scowl on his features.

“Klaus Cavil Denford! What has gotten into you?!

Her voice couldn’t avoid climbing pitches and for a second she forgot about their surroundings. Her sudden outburst drew a lot of eyes to our direction but Klaus stayed silent. I couldn’t decipher what was going through his head. Was he planning on angering his parents to death?!
