I sat in the hood enjoying Pier 69, the pier where many yachts live. The sound of the wind playing the waves, the dim light, the smell of the calm sea, perfect for refreshing the mind.
Alfred's car arrives. After turning off the car, he approached me.
"Sorry for being late. I brought you your favorite drink." He sat on the hood of the car, put the plastic bag there.
We enjoyed the beer. He was silent. I invited, maybe I should also start our small talk.
