Chapter 16-Fear of losing a child

The thought of losing my kid, whom I had only known for twenty-four hours, was severe. As soon as the doctor informed me of this, I wasted no time and began to march back to the pack house. I needed to see Enzo.

My heart raced with worry and anger as I ran up the stairs. Without knocking, I burst into Enzo’s office, only to find it empty. I went out of the office and walked through the hallway.

Just then, I spotted a guard standing at the end of the hallway. Without hesitation, I walked up to him,

my voice echoing loudly as I demanded, "Where is Enzo?"

The guard shook his head, refusing to provide any information. Anger surged through me, and I grabbed his neck, forcing him down to my height. I glared fiercely, holding him in place as he struggled against my grip. I was obviously stronger with my Alpha blood, and he was just a regular wolf.

"My son is dying in the hospital right now," I seethed. "If you won't tell me where he is, then consider yourself dead," I added.
