Chapter 17- Antidote

I settled back into my seat as I waited. Soon, there was a knock on the ward door and it opened to reveal my father holding Marcel in his arms.

As soon as Marcel saw me, he ran to me, and I scooped him up in my arms.

“Mummy, I missed you so much,” he said as he hugged me.

“I missed you too, my love,” I responded as I hugged him close.

“I want you to meet your brother, Marcel. He is currently sleeping now,” I said as I turned him to face his brother. He gasped as he climbed on the bed and lay close to him.

I tried to hold back my tears as my father came to my side and held me close.

“Why are you crying, mummy?” Marcel said as he looked at me. I looked at Enzo to see him looking at Marcel with amazement. I wasn’t in the mood to tell Marcel that Enzo was his father.

“It’s nothing, baby,” I answered.

“Come with me,” my father said as he led me out of the room, leaving Marcel with Enzo and Desmond. As soon as I stepped out of the room, I could see Leo sitting on the bench outside. He came
