Chapter Thirteen: Thorn

In the extreme darkness of the place where I was, I could not help but be afraid. I hugged myself as I looked around. I could hear a growl in the distance, it was scary to hear as if it were a wild animal. The growls got louder and I got up immediately to get away from her.

As I ran away I can notice that someone seemed to be chasing me, I was even more nervous, I didn't know where I was going.

"Chase her!" I heard a man shout. I was so nervous that I didn't realize I had collided with someone in front of me. It gripped my arms tightly and I couldn’t see its face.

''L-let me go, '' I begged. He did not let go of me and remained to stare at me. '' Don't be afraid, I'm not your enemy,'' he whispered.

We were distracted to see those chasing us, my eyes widened when I saw some wolves. There are lot of wolves surrounding us, I was able to hold on tightly to the man next to me.
