“I am not going to let you push me away, Luciano. I am not going to leave you,”

She said, Those weren’t what he was expecting her to say. He didn’t expect her to back-hug him after what he just told her. He expected her to run away from him. Yet, here she was, hugging and telling him that she wasn’t going to leave him. He wanted to be hopeful.

He wanted to turn around and pull her into a tight hug but he reminded himself that just because she accepted him now doesn’t mean she would not turn away from him later and even if she didn’t turn away from him, her acceptance of him doesn’t mean the bad luck of loving him would be gone.
