CHAPTER 28: BECAUSE OF ME

Chelsea’s POV

“Dad?”

I was stunned to see Dad standing close to us. He’s looking straight at me and I couldn’t explain the reaction on his face.

I turned back to Dale and asked him to leave us and come back the other time. I can see that he was hesitant but he just left. I walk close to Dad while he’s not moving at all.

“Let’s talk inside” he coldly stated.

I followed him to the living room and sat and asked me to do the same.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” he seriously asked.

I bit my lower lip because I couldn’t give him an answer. I feel guilty and disappointed that he has to know about it that way.

“Do you ever plan to tell us?”

At this point, Dad’s voice intensifies. I know that he wants to hear an answer from me. I turned fragile and at any moment I knew that my tears would gradually fall.
