For someone like me, what really mattered what was the most important thing after the disaster was to get back home.

Not even last minute enjoyments, not the goodbye selfies.

I had to get back home before the worse occurs than getting grounded. And speaking of my mother, she has her ways to make a living storm out of every situation. Not always, but still.

"What are you going to do about Noah?" Meredith asked who sounded genuinely worried.

I shrugged, checking my bag for the umpteenth time as the fear of losing things back in the hotel that I'll never get again. For example.
