Chapter Seventeen - "I love-"

Mason parks the car in my driveway and says, "So," clearing his throat as he takes the keys out of the ignition.

What do you want to do right now? He gives me a strange look in his eyes when he looks at me.

We recently watched the newest passenger film together. It was incredible, at least in my opinion. Mason considered it to be noisy and foolish. He finds it too idealistic.

That said, I adore films like that. movies where the unthinkable occurs. They're the one thing that lets us escape reality and see what an other world might be like, aren't they?

I enquire, "Do you want to come in?"

He asks, biting his lip, "And do what?"

He smiles and goes in closer to me, putting his lips on mine as he says, "Alright," nodding, "But first."
