School bell rings, it is 7.30am and Rosela, Kwensa, Anuella and their mom Dansanisa are already in the school compound. Dansanisa was also a teacher at Wisdom Expand high school same with their children. In front of the school gate, Dansanisa and the children came out from a taxi. At this point, Kwensa and Anuella are no more talking to Rosela, they two kept malice on Rosela because of the incident that transpare between her and their father, Amunsa. 

They strolled leisurely inside the school compound as if they had all the time in the world. It did not even occur to them that the school bell as already been rang when Dansanisa shouted at them. 

"Why are you guys strolling leisurely along with me, forgetting that I'm a teacher and you could be held here for coming late?". Dansanisa said checking her bag to make sure she took her maker along as they left home in a hurry. 

She found everything intact in the bag. "I'm talking and you are still walking slow? Come on run". Kwensa and Anuella ran to the assembly hall leaving Rosela behind. 

"Rosela why aren't you running to the assembly hall"?. Dansanisa asked with a wired face. 

"Mom I can't run neither walk faster, I'd stroll slowly straight to the class instead of the assembly". She said walking as if she was injured by the leg. Rosela was in great pains as a result of the rape. 

"Are you sure you are fine?" Dansanisa said giving her a strange look. 

"Yes mummy, I'm good". She thought of telling her at that moment but her lips was heavy having this fear that she won't believe her words to that of Amunsa, her monster of a husband. 

"Go to the class then". Dansanisa didn't even think deeply on what could have happened to Rosela making her to develop a new walking style. She step on the veranda of the principals office to have her time book sign and also get prepared for lectures. 

Assembly is over and the students are matching to their classes. Rosela was already seated in the class when Sandi and Katie walked in. 

"Sandi". She said looking at the direction where Rosela was seated. 

"What?" Sandi replied without even raising up his head as he was busy opening his bag to check if his maths assignment was intact. 

Katie punch him a little on his shoulder for attention "Rosela is already in class". 

Sandi on hearing Rosela's name raised his face up "What? This is unlike her". They walk towards the direction of were she was sitting to met Rosela crying. 

"Rosela what's the problem, why are sobbing?" Katie asked resting her hands on Rosela's shoulder. 

"You didn't even attained the morning prayer at the assembly hall, what's up". He sat besides her. Sandi had this funny feelings for Rosela, he couldn't open up thinking of how Rosela would react when she ears it. 

"Talk to us Rosela, we are your friends" Katie said wiping off tears from her face with an handkerchief. 

"Please Rosela, talk to us, don't be like this. We are already worried oo" he said. 

"Rosela......"Katie called out. 

"I'm fine guys. Don't get too walked up about me, just family issues". She couldn't bring up herself to tell Katie and Sandi about what has been happening to her latey, she lied. 

"You can't fooled us by telling Sandi and I that you are okay, you....". She got cutoff by Mr Solomon, their mathematics teacher who  walked into the class with a long and scary cane. They stood up and greeted him as usual. Mr Solomon didn't even answer them as he kept on pacing around the class wearing a long face. He was so ready to flock the hell out from those who would  by any means failed to do his or her assignment. 

"I hope you all are through and done with my assignment?" he asked starring at the whole class especially to the direction of Rosela. 

Rosela wasn't done with her own assignment due to the incident that took place the previous day. She wasn't even moved by Mr Solomon's big voice and his strokes of cane as she was so ready for his stroke of cane this morning. "What Mr Solomon would do to me is nothing compared to what happened to her the previous day, she thought. 

"Start submitting your assignment right here" he demanded pointing his long  cane on top of the desk. All the students rushed and submit theirs exception of Rosela. Mr Solomon called on the class prefect, Isreal obana to count and confirm whether the script was complete. 

"Sire, the script are not complete" he said still holding the papers standing in front of the class. 

"Who has not submitted his or her own"?  He asked raising his long cane up. Mr Solomon enjoys treating his stubborn students fockup. He doesn't beat them unnecessarily but to students, they saw it as maltreatment. 

Rosela stood up twisting her face "Me sir". 

"Ahh! Rosela, why, this is unlike you, what happened?" Mr Solomon asked walking towards the direction of Rosela's decks. 

Rosela lowered her face down and lied to Mr Solomon "I wasn't feeling well sire". Considering how she was looking, Mr Solomon believed her instantly. 

All her mate including Katie and Sandi were surprised to learnt that Rosela of all people did not do her assignment because of ordinary sickness. Rosela was someone who never joke around with her education, sickness or no sickness, she was always at the top of everyone in her class and bad enough, she wasn't voted for by her mate to be their class prefect. 

"I can see that. Have you gone to the hospital?"Solomon's careingly asked. 

"No I haven't, its was a weekend. My mom will take me after school". 

"Your mom shouldn't have allowed you to come to school today considering your predicament" he said laying one of his hand on the deck. 

"I insisted sir, I didn't want to miss today's classes for anything not even my health". She continud lying. Rosela didn't want Mr Solomon to approach her mom on her behalf....

Some days back, Mr Solomon asked Rosela out on a date during school hours. Rosela as a young and smart girl of seventh, rejected his proposal. 

That was the reason for his over caring to Rosela some minutes ago in the class. 

Sandi once told Rosela that he saw Mr Solomon with her mother having a very serious discussion behind the toilet. He tried all possible means to catch up with their conversation but he couldn't because of their low tone voice there were using.

2pm already and school has dismissed. Mr Solomon called Dansanisa and asked her to wait for a bit. They argue on something very seriously, Rosela site their reaction from afar and walked by, Dansanisa saw her coming she immediately change up the story as Rosela asked why they were having such a hug argument. 

She covered up and smiles again telling her it was nothing to worry about. Rosela believe her as Dansanisa turns away from Amunsa and went back to the office. 

Rosela stood there watching her walk away, she make a move of her own to use the rest room she came out for when Amunsa grab her back to himself with force as she slips and almost fell to the ground. 

Rosela flip her hands for him to get off it but he didn't as he kept mm on holding her hands looking at her back side with his tongue sliding in and out of his mouth. 

"Have you thought of my proposal already?" Mr Solomon asked lifting up her face from facing down. 

"Sir I'v told you, I can't go out with you, it not right and besides, you are married with two kids of almost my age. What would people say about me when they hears?" she said stressing her neck out. 

"Look Rosela, forget about me having children of almost your age, I just like you a lot and I want us to mingle together and enjoy ourselves, I will take care of you Rosela trust me" he touched her on the shoulder. 

"I still can't sir, I have to be on my way. My friends are getting impatient plus my mom, I think she is probably waiting for me at the gate now" She said and rush off leaving him with no chance of altering a word. 

"Rosela, Ro.... Damn it. I will get you no matter what Rosela. He swore returning to the staff room for his briefcase. 

"Rosela what took you so long, what was he even asking you"? Katie asked frowning her face. 

"Ah! Don't mind that man. As young as I'm and under age for that matter, he has the courage to asked me out, can you imagine that?" She said in a more shock manner. 

"What? Is he okay". Katie said. 

"Hope you are not going to give ears to him oo" Sandi said feeling jealous. 

"Come on Sandi, what do you take me for. I can't do that please" She smiled for once since the whole day in school. 

"I hope so". She said. 

"Rosela I think that is mom and your siblings standing at the main road. I think you should run along and catch up with them course you took pretty long speaking with Mr Solomon". 

"Don't start Katie. Okay I will see you guys tomorrow" she wave at them and walk slowly due to her wound. 

"mmmm! We hear you". Sandi commented. 

"Sandi whatsup with you, why this cold attitude towards Rosela. Is they something you are not telling me?" She said tickling him. 

With a long face. "Stop talking nonsense Katie". 

"Ahhhh! I'm not oo" Katie suspected something fishy. 

"Stop Katie, stop" Sandi worned while Katie bust out in laughter. 

"What kept you so long inside?" Dansanisa asked. 

"I was strolling with my friends, Katie and Sandi discussing how the up coming exams would be like". 

"Alright, come let's go, we were actually waiting for you" Dansanisa ordered using her hands to stop a taxi. 

" Mummy's daughter, so you actually kept us waiting simply because you were chatting with your friends?" Anuella asked tightening her face. 

"I wonder" Kwensa added. They hates Rosela because of what happened with their father. They thought she made up the story to get her mom hate Amunsa. 

"Don't start guys, we've been on this before. Come on let's go". They all entered a taxi and drove home.
