“How dare you claim them when I’m standing right here?” I snapped, my voice shook with rage. “They will never belong to you, Evelyn. I carried them. I bled for them. You’re nothing but a vulture. Do whatever you want with Liam, but stay the hell away from my babies.”

Evelyn stood. Her heels clicked as she came closer. Her smirk widened like this was nothing more than a show for her amusement.
