Camilla watched from the balcony as people mingled around. What I don’t get, though, is how Killian could have a second chance mate if he hasn’t even met his fated mate yet, let alone lost or rejected or been rejected by her. I wonder if the priest was somehow swayed/bribed by the Mellows to say that.

Alina has been planning since childhood to marry Killian and become his Luna, which only solidified in her mind once she rejected her fated mate and was told Killian was her second chance mate. Of course she will have a problem with someone else sweeping in and taking her man and her position!
