Everyone was momentarily stunned—even Benjamin froze.

Only Amanda was smiling radiantly, gazing at Barry with a breathtaking allure.

Benjamin gave a small, satisfied smile. A woman of mine should have this kind of spirit. What even he hadn’t realized was that in his heart, he had already claimed Amanda as his own.

Barry’s cold, dark eyes were locked on Amanda in disbelief. He hadn’t expected her to actually slap him.

“Well, dear nephew,” Amanda began sweetly, “tell me, in what way do I lack the right to speak? I’m your uncle’s wife. My name stands beside his, and I bear his surname. So why wouldn’t I have the right?”

Her smile deepened, dazzling like a blooming rose, beautiful but laced with thorns sharp enough to pierce the soul.

Her fox-like eyes shimmered with veiled mist, making it impossible to see what she was truly thinking.

Amanda looked at the man’s slightly cold but strikingly handsome face—this face was truly the stuff of legends. His features were refined like blooming petals, and there was a layer of misty detachment between his brows and eyes, making people hesitant to approach. But precisely because of this mysterious, unapproachable aura, the man had an enigmatic charm that drew people in.She chuckled lightly and said, “There’s no fate between us. The day of our divorce isn’t far off. Once you can walk again, we’ll get a divorce. We shouldn’t let your white moonlight come back only to end up heartbroken, right?”She hadn’t forgotten the fact that Benjamin already had someone he liked.Benjamin’s hands, resting on the armrests of his wheelchair, slowly clenched. He looked at her with a half-smile, his tone ice-cold: “You seem to be thinking a lot on my behalf?”“Of course. Amanda stopped in her tracks, her cool gaze fixed on the aggressive Sheila. Behind Sheila were several fashionably dressed women, each eyeing her with hostility.Sheila gave a cold smile, which only ruined her otherwise pretty face.“Amanda, you’ve been hiding in Jadeview Park Residence, too afraid to show your face. Now that you're finally out, after slapping me, don’t you think it’s only fair that my sisters return the favor—with three hundred slaps?”Amanda curled her lips into a smile. Peaceful days clearly weren’t for her.Three hundred slaps—how vicious. Apparently Sheila no longer needed her face.“Get out of the way.” Amanda’s cold eyes bore into her.Sheila had long been itching to make trouble for Amanda. But she couldn’t touch her in Jadeview Park Residence—not with Fourth Uncle there. Out here, though, the battlefield was hers.“You little

Barry was just as surprised to see Amanda. He had been restraining himself from looking for her these past few days, wanting her to come to him and sort things out in person. But Amanda had far more patience than he expected.Even after the online scandal broke, she remained calm and didn’t make a single move. With a cold smirk, Barry walked toward Amanda.Amanda tightened her grip on her son’s small hand.Mark glared furiously at Barry.“Amanda, we meet again,” Barry said shamelessly, smiling at her.Amanda raised an eyebrow, silent. When she recalled what happened with the lilies, a chilling smile curled her lips.Barry, did you really think it ended there? This was only the beginning of the show.“Young Master Barry,” she said with a faint, crisp voice, bewitchingly soft, “Has no one ever taught you not to call your elders by name? I am, after all, your aunt—offic

Caleb and Evelyn were both momentarily stunned.Evelyn looked at the butler and asked, “What is it?”The butler lowered his head without answering, instead handing over a tablet.“Madam, please take a look at this first.”With trembling fingers, Evelyn took the tablet and tapped to play the video.“Mom, these are all Amanda’s design drafts. I can’t believe that little bitch is so talented—she still had time to study design while researching formulas. Just look at these blueprints. Every one of them could make me rich beyond imagination. Every single one is worth a fortune.”“Mom, her design award is going to be mine.”“Good, good, Carol, everything she has will be yours. Even her life belongs to you. This time, you’ll win that design award for sure. Just take her work and enter it. That little bitch Amanda won’t dare say a word. If she dares, I’l

His face grew even paler, and overnight, the white hairs at his temples had noticeably increased. He said heavily, “I fear that Barry is here to cause trouble.”It had just been a few idle words at the hospital—who would’ve thought Miranda overheard them?Evelyn’s heart tightened. If he could stand up right now, Patrick would already be lying flat on the ground. She glanced at the two men and said coolly, “Stop arguing in front of me. If you want to fight, do it when I’m not around. This is awkward enough. One of you is my friend, the other is my husband—I can’t side with either of you.”Patrick instinctively turned to look at her, as if struck by lightning. His face went pale, and the shock in his peach blossom eyes was unmistakable. After a long silence, he finally asked in a hurt voice, “Amanda, you think of him as your husband?”He hadn’t misheard. She really just said, “my husband”… and she meant Benjamin.Benjamin couldn’t help but curl his lips in a faint smile.Amanda looked at the stunned Patrick and asked in confusion, “Patr
