Damien kept wishing the conversation with Tyriq would end quickly, but the man could talk. Damien couldn't be impolite and interrupt him, but he was eager to go back to Adeline.
After almost twenty minutes, they were finally done.
"Oh, I'm sorry for keeping you away from your lovely wife. Please, do go back to her and enjoy the rest of the party," Tariq said.
