Downfall?

Eva's POV'

Opening my eyes, I blinked to wave the blurry vision away from my eyes. My whole body pains like hell. I tried to focus on my surroundings after gaining consciousness. That's when the realization hit me damn. When I was in the garden watering the plants, someone tried to attack me and when I tried to fight back that man, dressed in black, but he hit me in the head with something so hard that I passed away on the spot.

That's the reason my head aches so badly that I can barely focus anymore. When Luca tried to save me from that man, he shot him in the leg. God, I hope he's good. I felt unfortunate for him. I suddenly started to feel scared thinking about where I was. When my eyes settled down on my surroundings, the ground slipped beneath my feet. It was all dark. So dark that there was no source of light present except from some broken bulbs, making it appear like some ghost movie. God, where am I?
