Huh? How did he know that?

The expression on my face was telling. Caleb let out an exasperated laugh and pinched my chin.

James and Caleb looked completely identical. But regardless of whether they were in the dorm or on campus, I could instantly differentiate them.

The twin brothers and I lived in the same dorm. Ever since I moved into the dorm, Caleb had been especially guarded against me.

Facts showed that Caleb would instantly show up whenever James and I were alone for more than half an hour.

He would either come up with an excuse to pull James away or tug me outside, just like what was happening at that moment.

“Tell me, why are you currying favor with James this time again?” Caleb glanced at me casually.

If my answer did not satisfy him, he would punish me.

When I recalled the weird punishment he gave me last time, my tongue and knees went weak.

“I have a thing for basketball. James happened to be playing. As his roommate, I had to be there,” I said earnestly.

I was worried that he would not believe me, so I held up my fingers as if swearing on it.

Caleb quickly grabbed my hand. A mocking smile arched across his lips. “Hah! That’s childish!”

My lips twitched. I was about to withdraw my hand when Caleb abruptly pried my fingers open and flipped them over. “Since when did you scrape your fingers?”

It had happened last time when he seemed to lose his mind and simply gave an excuse and ordered me to punish myself.

“How could a grown man like you be so delicate?” Caleb muttered. Then, he took out an ointment from his pocket, lowered his head, and carefully applied it to my fingers.

As I watched him carefully apply the ointment on my fingers, I could not help but grumble to myself. I wondered why he was imitating David.

David was the fourth person in our dorm. Carrying an ointment with him wherever he went was like his personal trademark.

David was not as fiery and bold as James, nor was he as domineering as Caleb. He was as gentle as a sheep.

After Caleb finished applying the ointment, he looked up and caught the teasing look on my face.

He instantly realized that I had mocked him for copying David. His ears flushed, and he stormed off in anger.

I quickly went after him. But before I knew it, he had already disappeared.

Caleb was a prideful man. I should not have let him see through me. The thought left me filled with regret.

By the time he recovered his senses, I wondered what kind of punishment he would come up with for me next.

“Michael.” A warm and gentle voice called me from behind.

I turned around. It was David.

His gaze settled upon my chest. “You’re soaked again. Put this on.”

David swiftly draped his jacket over my shoulders.

He was the only one in the dorm who knew about my strange condition of producing milk.

It had all started one late night. I forgot the dream that I had. I only knew that by the time I woke up, my upper body was damp.

Luckily, James and Caleb were not around that night.

The unusual and faint smell attracted David, so he came over to my bed.

At that time, I had just clumsily cleaned myself up. The tissues were scattered all over the bed and the floor.

Although he did not know what had happened, he bent down and helped me to pick up the damp scraps of tissue.

It was a bizarre secret to share with someone. Yet, David took it in stride.

“They are wet, and you need to keep rubbing them. It must feel awful, right?” David’s gaze was filled with gentleness.

I had been so busy distracting Caleb that I almost forgot about the imagery I was presenting with a wet shirt.

“Pull up your shirt. I’ll help you to… wipe it off.”

Maybe it was just my imagination. I somehow sensed that David had deliberately paused in the middle of the sentence.

He took me to a quiet corner. Then, he lifted the hem of my shirt without hesitation.

Such an intimate interaction was highly embarrassing. I tried to reject him.

David seemed to have read my thoughts. He firmly planted his large palm on my butt. “Michael, behave yourself.”

“Okay.”

I went completely still.

He took out tissues and carefully dabbed at the milk stains on my chest. After that, he took out an ointment from his bag, which he always carried with him.

He put some ointment on his fingertip, then applied it to my chest. He moved his fingertip in a circular motion, gradually spread the ointment across, and finally rubbed it with steady pressure.

A soft sound escaped my throat before I could stop myself.

David instantly pressed down a little more firmly. “Michael.”

“Yes?” I answered in a daze.

“Someone’s coming. I’ll help you again tonight.” Right after he finished his sentence, I saw a figure show up in front of us in a rush.

I was still caught up in the lingering warmth of his touch when I was pulled into someone else’s arms again.

“I was worried that you’d run into danger if I left you alone here. What do I find instead? You’re flirting around!”

It was Caleb.

His first words might have sounded like concern. But what danger could I possibly face on campus?

Moreover, David was also my roommate. How could this possibly be counted as flirting?

“He’s domineering and controlling!” I thought bitterly.

David gave Caleb a ghost of a smile as he looked at him. Their eyes met for a few seconds before David turned to me.

“Keep the ointment with you. Remember to apply it a few more times.”

I kept quiet. I was worried that Caleb would think up another punishment for me.

After David left, Caleb’s deep voice carried a heavy edge.

“The ointment I used on your fingers isn’t as good as that show-off’s, right?”

I stared at Caleb in puzzlement. I could not figure out why he chose that word for David.

I fell silent. But he took my silence as defiance, and he yanked up my shirt without hesitation.

“Where did you hurt yourself? Where did he apply the ointment for you?”

I was taken by surprise. Before I could stop him, Caleb rested his gaze on my chest.

“W-What’s that?”

A large patch of white ointment was smeared across my chest.

Despite that, milk from my chest continued to seep down in a steady trail.

Since I could not hide it from him anymore, I gave up and said flatly, “Milk.”

Caleb looked at me in shock. “How did you…?”

“I don’t know…”

“Can I lick it?”

I was shocked.
