The danger was clear as day. She knew how bad Elijah can get. Because the time was critical, she gave him no snarky response and rushed off from there.

Although she wanted to give his words no importance, those terror inducing words of his was imprinted at the back of head, reverberating in her mind.

Anyways, she wasn't a masochist who enjoyed the pain although she did get out of control at times.
