chapter -6

Start-

"meet one of the most successful and powerful man of our business word and now sareen corporation new chairmen mr Vansh Rai singhania."

She felt like her whole body turned numb whereas each and every person and things surrounded her had blurred when her Amber eyes fell on those dark orbs which was to be the source of light even in her dark moments , those eyes which used to be epitome of her happiness , those eyes which she used to believe her whole life was present in them and now the things she didn't know was, those eyes which were going to wreck her existence into pieces . Those eyes , which were going to be the most painful fate of  her life.

Ridhima's gaze continued to more deeper into his eyes without even blinking for once, like those darken orbs  had captivated her by straight into her soul untill.

"Mr vansh Rai singhania , welcome to sareen corporation ."

The head of the board of directors  spoke  with professional smile on his face while extending his hand to him whose eyes never left her eyes .

And then she saw him dart his gaze away from her and looked at him and shake his palm with  the director and a smug grin on his face .

"Meet, Mr vansh Rai singhania , the founder of and CEO of Sareen corporation ."

The head of directors said gesturing to ward Ridhima's father's making him to dart his gloomy gaze at him

"Hello Mr . Rai singhanja , it's good to meet you and I have heard alot of things about you ."

"Mr sareen said extending his palm to him whose grin widened hearing him as he collided his palm with her vansh

"I hope they are not that bad which I have assumed them to be , Mr sareen ."

He uttered chuckled lightly and replied

"No, Mr Rai singhania they are not that bad. Infact they are anything but bad ."

"Glad to hear that , mr sareen otherwise you may never know ."

He utttered and took back his hand and shoved them in his pocket and titled his head  sideway at her direction silently without getting noticed by anyone except her ...

"When the good things you have done in your life turns out be bad for someone and when that bad turns into worst ."

His deep voice and his words made her heart to feel sharp pang which quivered her soul in pain.

"No arguemnet over this Mr Rai Singhania and I  must say you are exactly like what I have heard about you , clever , sharp and very certain person ."..

A hoarse chuckled excaped from his mouth hearing mr, sareen words for him which made everyone a little befuddled .

"Like I said you may never know the things which are good for you turns into bad and then worst for someone else , just exactly right now like you said clever , sharp and very certain but I certainly don't agree with certain one, mr sareen because ."

She heard him speaking while slightly tilting his head again.

"My life taught me to be anything but certain so now I guess I would consider myself us an ambivalent . A person who love doing those things he used to hate or hate those things once he had loved ;

He sould shivered in her body hearing his each and every word because she knew exactly what he meant by them.

"Ok Mr Rai singhania I am impressed and very least number of people impressed me in our first encounter ."

"Glad to know about that ,Mr sareen that I am an exception ."

He said , making mr sareen nod with an impression smile and then looked at her .

"So Mr Rai singhania , meet my daughter and the future CEO of the Enterprise Ridhima sareen."

Her heart beat halted where as she felt her knees turned weak when his eyes trailed from her father to her slowly and then again fell on her eyes and his smugly grin turned more wide by staring at her from her toe to her head slowly and steadly , like possessing every inch of her and at that moments  by watching his dark eyes , she got there was nothing familiar left in them like she used to see and he used to have .

The  person standing in front of her eyes was totally different and opposite from that person whom she used to know and there left nothing on thsoe beautiful dark eyes , except the extreme amount of darkness , the darkness which was going to consume her entire existence .

Her eyes got fastened with his , like freezing the time around her untill she found him taking a couple of steps closer towards her direction like calculation his each and every step where as his eyes Never get away from her as he reached to her and stood in front of. Her and continued to gaze at her .

And she too never let her lashed fell for once untill she saw him take out his hand from his pocket and extend it towards her .

"Glad to meet you, Ms Ridhima sareen."

She heard him speaking while gazing deeply into her ,like memorizing her in every possible way , she slowly took out her palm and then return the gesture. .

But she heart rembled when she felt that warmth of his touch which used to be her everything but now that warmth was making her feeling like her soul was freezing with it. ..

She felt his palm to clutch her hand a little firmly where as their eyes never left each other untill

"Ok let's  start the meeting everyone ."

Ridhima got out from her trance and immediately took back her hand and clutched it tightly and then looked at him whose eyes still were on her where as she could feel that his eyes to turn a shade more darken.

"Shall we proceed , Mr Rai singhania ."

His eyes snapped away from her and stopped at Mr sareen as he nodded and again looked at her one last time and with an almost invisible grin went to his chair , making her sighed softly and then sat on her chair and the meeting started .

After half an hour ..

The meeting continued to proceed as important discussion related to bussienss and company was going on but her focus was not even a little bit on it because her mind and heart was focusing only  on one thing or precisely on one person.

But she never looked at him , not even for once because she wanted to run away from there and never to look back, she wanted to hide herself from those eyes forever but they were again infront of her which made her past to stand in front of  her present more abruptly .

Rudhima didn't look in his direction but from time to time she could feel his darken gaze on her which  made her body clenched in panick. She gazed down and clutched her purse tightly which was in her lap untill.

"Ridz , is everything alright ."

She heard her father whispering to  her while placing his palm over hand to which she sighed and looked at him and nodded at him with a weak smile, untill involuntarily her gaze diverted towards him and her bloods froze watching his eyes on her .

"So Mr , Rai singhania from her hearing that voice and he looked at that person as he took back his hand and streched  his back in the chair .

"Well i don't  approved with this plan completely ."

Every single pair of eyes snapped at his direction hearing him.

"But that's the best plan and each and every single board member , share holders and even Mr sareen is in favour of it , mr Rai singhania then."

"But I am not mr Sharma.". Vansh said , halting his sentence , making everyone confused .

"Becuase plan is only focusing on sareen corporation future , what about the present ? What if it is not able to stand in it's present and would it be accurate to assume about it's future when it won't have any present ?"

He uttered , making everyone comletely shut which made his grin to wide .

"Because as I have studied about your plan and it's consequence comapany , it won't take it anywhere and I guess you all tried to implement this same plan with some changes in your past too but it still didn't take you to the goal you wanted to achieve , so I think. We should learn from our past . Never to commit the same mistake twice ."

Her breathing hitched processing his words.

"And the best thing about your past Is ,it held the power of making it wrecking your present and future in every possible way."

He said making the room completely went silent for a while and then everyone nodded at him in approval and impressed , turning his smirk broaden and there sat she , who felt his each and every sentence was throwing daggers at her sharply and painfully .

And the meeting continued to proceed and finally after a while it comes to an end

"Perfect plan Mr Rai singhania , I must there' no doubt why you're such a successful bussinessman  at such a young age ." Mr sareen said.

"I am grateful to have such a talented and deligent  person like you to hold the relevant position of my company ."

Mr sareen said , getting up from chair and extended his palm  to him and again spoke

"I guess it's going to be a great experience working with you ."

He got up too and returned the gesture with Mr sareen.

"I"LL make sure about that , Mr sareen ."

He spoke, making Mr Sareen to smile professionaly.

"Ok so Mr sareen I hope our choice didn't disappoint you ."

"No at all Mr kapoor , infact I am  proud of your and the board's selection for my company's chairmen'ss position ."

Mr sareen replied to the head of directors , making him nod and look at vansh

"And we are grateful to have you here , Mr Rai singhania.""

He beamed smugly and shake his hand with him

"Trust me , I am the one who is grateful to be here Mr Kapoor."

Ridhima clutched her purse more tightly hearing him while continuing to look down untill ..

"Well Ms, sareen , I want to know your opinion to on out selection ."

Her eyes slowly trailed toward the owner of that voice .

"As you're going to be future CEO do I guess your approval and opinion becomes necessary too because the one who is going to work with Mr Rai singhania future so what do you say about him and his palm.?"

Ridhima heard and  then slowly got up from her seat

"Yes, Ridz Mr Kapoor is absolutely right as you have to work with mr vansh rai singhania after some time , so how  do you feel about him and his plan and thought for our company ?"

"I have no problem with yours and the board's decision because I know you all are going to do what will be the best for the company ."

She replied ,  making her father to kid in proud at her

"Well there I guess everything in settle for today , thank you do much everyone for being here and giving your previous time .

The head announced , wrapping up the meeting and then everyone started biding their good bye greeting to each other and she did her best to ignore a certain someone but her fate wasn't in favour of her because it never was .

Ridhima felt presence to stand infront of her , towering  body making her to froze at her place , feeling his body's closeness , she stead trailed her eyes at him only to find his gaze already gazing at her intersly .

He gazed at her eyes throughly and a chill ran down her spine when she saw a dark smiek to crept on his face while staring at her as he extended his palm to her

"I hope my presence is worthy enough to pleasure you, ms sareen."

She heard him uttering those words which made her heart to clutch, knowing exactly what he meant and at that time by looking into his dark and gloomy eyes , she understood his real motive of being there ,

She slowly collided her palm with his. And gazed deeply into his yes and replied

"Indeed , it was mr Vansh Rai singhania ."

As soon she uttterd her words , she found his eyes to become more harder darken as his smirk grew more cunning

"So I guess it's going to be more than satisfying to get to know each other Ms sareen ."

" I hope so that Mr vansh Rai singhania."

She replied daring straight into his ruthless gaze and took back her palm from his grip , making him pull back his hand too and then shoved them into his pocket.

"Trust me Ms sareen, it'll."

He utterd with his intimidating deep voice and then grinned , turned his eyes away from her eyes

"So I guess I should take my leave now, Mr sareen .". He spoke looking at him , earing a nod from him and a smile

"I am looking forward to work with you Mr Rai singhania."

His smile boarden hearing him.

"Glad to hear that mr sareen but I can assure you that you must be looking forward for working with me but

He said and then his eyes once again diverted towards her who was looking straight at him this time.

"Not more than me ."

He spoke peeing at her , making her eyes to get sticked at his.

"So till then and I will meet you soon because now nobody and nothing can tear me apart from the company and its people ".

She heard him uttering those words and then gazed at her one last time and then walked out from that place , making her to exhale a deep breath which she herself didn't know she was holding back untill now

"Let's go , Ridhu."

Ridhima looked at her father saying She bobbed her head at him with a tiny smile and then both of them walked away from there.

At sareen House

Ridhima was heading to her room after coming back from the company

"Ridhu?"

She stopped and turned around and looked at him

"Yes Dad ."

Her father walked towards her and just gazed at herb

"Ridhu is everything alright my child ? Because you were looking so tensed and  uncomfortable at today's meeting and even now you're still looking tensed. Is something bothering you ? Please tell me."

He asked her to which she sighed and shrugged her head at him.

"No dad , I am completely fine , there's  nothing for you to get worried about . It's just I am not used to such meetings and conferences do that's why .".

"Are you sure my angel , that everything is alright ?"

He asked still doubtfully ,making her to softly smiled and nodded

"Yes, my life , i m completely fine don't  worry ."

His father beamed warmly hearing her and hugged her and then pecked her head

"You know you can share your any problem with me , right ? I know I am not your mom but still i can try to be one."

He spoke, making her hug him more tightly and them palmed his face .

"You don't need to be anyone becuause you already are my everything like I said my whole life dad ." ..

She said and tiptoed and kissed his father's head ..

"I love you so much my child ."

"I love you more dad , so much and I promise to always stand by you ."

She replied smiling , making her father to pat her head and smiled

"Ok now go, freshen up and take her room

Inside her room

She took her steps inside her room and then clsoed the door behind her and locked it and pressed her back against the door and closed her eyes tightly

"Now sareen corporation need chairmen Mr . vansh rai singhania."

Her eyes shut when her closed eyes started flashing those images of his and her mind started recalling his words

"When the good things you have done in your life turns be bad for someone and when that bad turns into wrost .".

Her eyes turned blurry with tears when her mind started enchoing his each and every word in her ear and her eyes flashed his face in front of her , making her breathing to start turning heavy

"My life taught me to be anything but certain so now I guess I would consider myself as an ambivalent , A person who love doing  those things  he used to hate or hate those things one he had loved ."

Theses started streaming down from her eyes whereas her whole body turned weak , continuously remembering each and everything and then she fell on the floor

Whereas her breathing turned more abnormal  her face tuned red as her tears never stopped flowing , she closed her eyes tightly and pressed her palm over the side of her neck in prefer to calm herself down .

"And the best  thing about your past is it held the power of making or wrecking your present and future in every possible way ."

But nothing worked to soothe her condition her panic and anxiety compeltley taken over her to even take a single breath .

She tested up more badly while panting terrible and then immediately got up with the help of door

She opened her purse while breathing heavily and took out what she thought she was never going to use again but now she was in need of it terribly .

Ridhima took out that thing and stormed towards her bathroom . She went inside and opened her shower .cold water started talking on her whole body where as her eyes fell on her reflection every possible way .

TRIGGERING /SENSITIVE CONTENT AHEAD

She gazed at deep into her eyes which never stopped shedding, tears her face had turned more red whereas her breathing acculerated more

"I  hope my presence is wrothy enough to pleasure you . Ms Ridhima sareen."

"And the best thing about your past is it held the power of making or wrecking your present and future , in every possible way ."

His words constantly roamed in her mind like they had pissed her . She looked at her hand and the things she was holding in it.

"My life taught me to be anything but certain so now I guess I would consider myself as an ambivalent . A person who love doing those things he used to hate or hate things once he had loved."

She constantly gazed at that things while recalling those words and then Tigger the sleeve of her shirt upward where alot of marks of  her brutal act on her own self was already present there ,

Ridhima stared at those marks while having and crying badly

"When the good things you have done in your life turn , out be bad for someone and when that bad turns into worst ."

"Now sareen corporation's new  chairmen Mr vansh Rai singhania ."

"I am so sorry to say this Ms sareen but it's no more ."

And she performed that insanely harsh act on her own self which broke her would into pieces again. She digged her lower lip in between her teeth to surpass her physical pain because she needed to feel that extrenal pain for controlling the pain was she was feeling from inside and that was her only way to do it which she was doing form her past 7 years ।

Ridhina breathing rate turned  little normal and she looked at herself in the mirror and saw her reddened teary eyes and breathed out , gazing at her vulnerable state .

"I deserve this , every single inch of this .".

Next day.

"Ridhu you don't have to go if you're not feeling well or."

"No, dad , I am completely fine, it's just I slept too much that's why my eyes have sweller a little..

She replied smiling , making his father to sigh

"Are you sure ?".

"More than my life ."

She said which made her father to exahle deeply

"Ok fine then . I'll come back in just to couple of days and Mr mathur will  help you with everything in the company . I have  already told him everything ."

She smiled hearing him but her father didn't buy it .

"Ridhu, my angel, you know I'll never try to force you to do anything which you don't want to do because of me ,  your happiness Means more than anything and anyone so I am still saying , if you're not feeling comfortable going to work then .".

"Dad I am  feeling  completely well, please don't worry about me and you're not pressuring me about anything and you never did , so please go and attended your meeting and enjoy you journey without worries regarding me and our company . I'll do my best to keep everything in control .".

She spoke , assuring him , making him finally give up and smile .

"I know you will ,my angel , I have full faith in you .". He spoke and pecked her hairs

"Ok then I am leaving for the airport with my clients and you can take your care for our company , okay."

She nodded and hugged him tightly

"Have a safe journey and I love you so much ."

She snuggled her face more deep into her father's chest and just closed her eyes tightly because she didn't want to go away form his warmth embrace to anywhere because she was terrified to meet with her fate.

But she knew she had to face it no matter how much cruel and painful things her fate had stored for her .

At sareen corporation ..

"So, Ms sareen , this is your work for today , please call me anything if you need my help in anything ."

"Sure Mr mathur and thank you so much for guiding me .""

She replied with a warm smile, making him to beam too

"It's my work , ms sareen and I am glad to held you ." ..

She smiled at him again and then heard a knock  in her cabin's  door

"Come in. "

.

Ridhina spoke then saw a employee walking who was looking a little  tense.

"Sorry to disturb you but mam someone important is here to meet you ."

Ridhima's brows knitted hearing that employee afraid voice .

"W...?"..

She stopped further speaking , and felt like her soul was being torn apart from her body when that employee opened the door wide and her eyes Fell on those dark eyes which were gazing at her wickedly .

"Mr vansh Rai singhania to meet you , Ms sareen ."
