Chapter 4: Henrik’s return

It’s been a year since my father and I would prefer it to stay that way. Buy we don’t always get what we want.

It was around ten in the morning and there was a knock on the door. I went to go answer it. My father and Camie were standing at the door. I was about to slam the door in his face but he put his foot in the door.

“Christina, please can we talk.” Dad said.

“I don’t want to talk to you or Camie. Get out of my house..” I said.

“Now, now don’t be rude to our guests. Let them in.” Mom said.

“Elizabeth, you’re here. How lovely. You’re looking as beautiful as ever.” Dad said.

Camie elbowed him

“I only came here to check up on you. The last time I saw you. You were in a coma.”

“Well the last I saw you. You were trying to sell me off to the government. And trying to get me kicked out my house.” I said. “ I’m fine now leave.”

“I’m not leaving Christy.” Dad said.

“Momma!” Amanda screamed.

She woke early today. I ran up the stairs to Amanda’s room. I grabbed her out her crib. She kept crying.

“What’s the matter baby?”

I felt a presence in the room. Behind me was a shadow creature. I used my light magic and dispelled it. I ran downstairs.

“Dad and Camie get the hell out of my house. There was a shadow creature in my daughter’s room. I know you are crazy Camie. But don’t mess with my daughter.”

“Or what?” Camie said.

“Mom hold Amanda for me.” I said.

I gave Amanda to Mom. The dragon detached itself from my arm. I made three more. My wings came out and my hair turned into fire I made two fireballs.

“ Try me Camie,” I said.

My dad stepped in between us “That’s enough. Why can’t we be a family?”

“Because I don’t trust either of you. You cheated on Mom with Camie and you sent Mom to the government facility. Where she got tested on for five years. I could send you to that facility to get tested on.”

“You can’t do that.” Camie said. “ You have no power over us.”

“Actually, she can she is the president of the council, as of yesterday. And you’re wife that you haven’t divorced runs that facility.”

“What happened to Arthur?” Camie asked.

“He’s been sent to the facility. The whole council voted him out once they found out that he left Elizabeth in the government facility to rot.”

“So he did listen to me. Interesting he’s a simple guy. If you sleep with him he’ll do whatever you say.” Camie said.

“You slept with Arthur?”

“Can you figure your relationship problems outside of my house.”

“We are staying. And we are going to sit down and have dinner together.”

Delores came downstairs. “We are not having dinner together. You think the stunt you just pulled in my granddaughter’s room will allow you into our house. And you Henrik you think you can show up here and try to be Christy’s father after everything you have done to her. I don’t think so. Get out now.”

“Make me.” Camie said.

“Oh I will.” I said.

I moved my father out the way. I rose in the air and twirled around, my red dress appeared. I twirled my finger and the dragons went to attack her. She tried to dispel them with her dark magic but it just made them more powerful and faster. She tried shooting them down. But the dodge ever blast. They hit her and her clothes lit on fire. I threw my fireballs at her.

“Shit Hot, hot, hot. Henrik do something.” Camie said.

“Why should I?”

“I’m your wife.”

Dolores poured water on her

Her dress had burn holes everywhere.

“Urgh. This is ridiculous.” Camie said.

“Well you can’t take the heat get the hell out of my house.” I said.

“We are leaving Henrik.”

“I’m leaving I’m staying here.” Dad said.

“You are leaving with your wife. Mom and I will figure out what to do with the both of you later.” I said.

I pushed Dad one and sighed niw I want to go take a nap. Those two always drain the energy out me.” I said.

“Go and rest baby, I’ll make breakfast.” Mom said.

Amanda yawned in Mom’s arms.

“I’ll go put her to ,ed.” Alexi said. “Just rest Christy.”

I went t our bedroom laid down. My head hurt so bad. I went downstairs and a bottle of water. I drank the whole thing down and went upstairs. I lay down and went to sleep. I woke up an hour to the beautiful smell of bacon. I went downstairs to find a plate with bacon pilled on it. It was at least 3 pounds of bacon.

“I told you she would wake up when we cooked the bacon. Bacon is Christy’s favorite food and sushi. Give her one of the two things and her heart is yours.” Mom said.

“You remembered,” I said.

“Of course, I remembered. How could I forget my daughter’s favorite foods.” Mom said.

“I missed you so much, Mom. Dad and Camie always forget me like trash. I could never be myself around them.” I said.

“It's alright, baby you don't have to worry about them anymore. I'm here now. They can't hurt you anymore. So what do want to do them?”

“I want to give them the harshest punishment they can get. Do know a government facility that would do tests on them twenty-four seven?” I said.

“The one in D.C does.” Mom said.

“That’s good enough for me,” I said.
