Chapter 17 - Hold on

After washing out all the pain in his heart with his tears, Romeo begins searching for his men. One by one, he keeps sight of them, beginning with Shark who was bleeding but was being attended to by his hired paramedics. He saw snake who seemed to have broken a few bones but with the training, they went through, Romeo knows that it's nothing he can't handle.

Then he sees Dagger. He only sustained a few injuries but nothing serious. Tiger was helping out some of their injured men while the men in white were slowly but steadily making their way out of Monalisa's fortress. They attended to Monalisa's guards and together with her maids, they were led out of the fortress.

There were lots of injuries but only a few deaths. The only death that was regretted was that of Monalisa. Thinking through it all, would he have taken Monalisa back after meeting Charlotte if she had told him the truth then? What would have happened to Charlotte if he had decided to take her Monalisa back?
