Chapter 25 - Will you marry me

After Acid and Pluto got to the mansion disclosing their discussion with James's guards to Romeo, Romeo informed them about Hunter and how he abducted Maria. As expected, Acid and Pluto were taken aback. No one will suspect that he was James's informant.

It made them comprehend how Gilbert came timely to Monalisa's house with those monsters. Information had been leaked to James who in turn sent Gilbert. Everything added up perfectly. It was not difficult getting Hunter to confess and expose all his accomplices, especially when James no longer needed their service. 

No one will pay them as much as Romeo or James did. There was also too much evidence against him. Together with his accomplices, they begged to continue working with Romeo and were ready to accept and go through with whatever punishment Acid was going to give them. Romeo had already decided to forgive them because everyone deserves a second chance including them.
