As soon as they returned to the office, Anders handed Veil a trailer load of files to type and edit.

"Make them available before the meeting with HT ventures."

Veil's eyes grew wide as she glanced between the four stacks of neatly piled files. How can anyone do such work in less than three hours? She grimaced as she thought about it. Deep down, she knew he was deliberately doing all this as revenge, else, she couldn't tell any other reason why he made her suffer every day at the office.

She picked up the documents, turned on her heels, and left for her office.

While she was at it, she almost didn't realize it was noon. Until Simon knocked on her door and peeked in.

"You're not coming for lunch?"

"Uh... Hi Simon, sorry, I can't. I have to finish up these files and submit them before Mr. Rodriguez's One o'clock meeting. Luckily, I'll be done in a few minutes." She yawned, stretched, and then smiled at him.

"You look hungry," Simon noted and Veil nodded in confirmation.

"I am hungry.
