Walking in the hallway of the hotel Xander and I frequently stayed, I smiled broadly at myself, feeling so proud of how well my game went.
I used my card to open the door of our hotel room, and stepped in. The first thing I did was to scan my eyes through the place in search of Xander, but surprisingly, I found him nowhere close. That was quite weird, because I only called him a few minutes ago. How could he possibly be missing now?
