092: A New Generation; Old Enemies

The girls arrived at the Alpha's home and burst into the living room.

"Mom, Dad!" Eloise yelled for her parents.

"Honey, I'm in the kitchen!" Her mother's shout rang out, and the girls hurried to the kitchen, where they discovered Luna Gwen mixing flour in a bowl while sitting on the stool beside the counter, and next to her, looking like a love-struck puppy, was a 15-year-old lad with his elbow pressed against the counter and his gaze fixed on Gwen.

"Daniel, what are you doing here?" Everleigh looked at her younger brother with suspicion, but he scarcely acknowledged his sister's presence. "Daniel!" She yelled harder, and the youngster snapped out of his daze and sneered.

"Why can't I be here, Everleigh? Aunt Gwen is baking me and the baby pancakes," he said childishly, sticking out his mouth. "Your girls are so annoying, I can't wait for the baby to be born, bets he's going to be a boy," he grinned widely and stared back at Gwen.
