Titus tried to keep the satisfied smirk from pulling at his lips when he inhaled and found that Jade’s heat had spiked high enough to where he was sure she would not deny him. Within minutes, they were handing the sleeping children over to the paramedics and he was leading Jade toward the Hummer he had parked around the side of the building.

Jade glanced back toward the front doors seeing another child being carried out and pulled against the hold she just realized Titus had on her upper arm.

“As Alpha, aren’t you supposed to be helping the wolf pack,” she asked, just as they rounded the corner out of sight. She didn’t really want to be alone with him right now… not when her knees felt so weak.

She gasped when Titus swung her around to face him, his palm suddenly gripping her right between her legs. She couldn’t help but close her eyes and arch her body when his finger rubbed hard right across the seam of her damp pants.
