Bianca's POV

My jaw clenched at the mention of my mother, but I said nothing.

Because my father didn't know what this really was for me. He didn't know hom many nights I spent watching the explosion footage. How certain I was that the Russian pipeline tied yo Vincenzo had turned into the blade that killed my mother.

And now?

Now I would bury that empire.

One lie at a time.

I left the cellar not long after, my mind sharpening like a blade.

The scent of aged oak and red wine still clung to my skin when I slipped silently out if the cellar passage and into the hall. My father’s words echoes in my mind, sharp and final.

Vincenzo will fall. And when he does, his queen goes down first.

I paused near the stone archway if the corridor, letting the shadows wrap around me. The estate was quiet, the kind that hummed with secrets. I didn’t trust the walls here. Someone was always watching.

Especially Alessandro.

He has a way of being everywhere, silent, controlled

Alessandro’s POV Vincenzo didn’t blink. “Go on.” “She has access to her father’s inner circle. Her father is feeding her intel, high-level conversations. She’s involved in something bigger. I don’t have the full picture yet, but she’s watching. She’s acting.” Giovanni chuckled. “Pretty face, deadly hands. You always find the complicated ones.” I ignored him. Vincenzo tapped a single finger against the desk. “You said she believes we killed her mother.” “She believes the Russians did. And because you married Violet, you are the enemy by blood.” Giovanni and Mario tensed as they shared a look with Vincenzo. “And her father?” Vincenzo asked. “Still in bed with Ricci?” “Worse.” I said. “He’s planning something. with Matteo Ricci’s family. She’s in the loop.” Silence fell again. Then Vincenzo leaned forward, resting his forearms on the desk. “Can she be turned?” I kept silent for a moment. I thought of Bianca’s fire, her venom, her pain. The grief etched behind he

  • Blood and Loyalty   Chapter 13

Bianca’s POV It was the day of the meeting Vincenzo was holding with his men. My dad asked me to enter and gain his trust. And the day has finally come. And since the first second I stepped inside the territory, I knew from their eyes. They didn’t expect me. Not really. I know what they are thinking. They expected me to be my father’s daughter, the pretty puppet in designer heels, too distracted by diamonds and wedding plans to understand real power. They were wrong. I stepped out of the black car as if I belonged there, sunglasses catching the afternoon sun, chin high. Alessandro didn’t know where we were going. He was beside me, silent, but there was tension in the way he walked. I wasn’t here to play safe anymore. The building was tucked behind a vineyard outside Palermo, opulent in that quiet, unspoken way old money wears it like skin. Armed men stood at the gates, at the doors, at the balconies. I knew that at least four were watching me through scopes. Still, I didn’

Bianca's POV "Let's fight." I said. "What?" He asked raising his eyebrow."You're already training." I shrugged. Alessandro studied me for a beat, then he nodded. "Alright. SShoes off, and no flinching." He said coldly.I kicked off my shoes without hesitation and stepped onto the mat barefoot. He studied me for a while. "You are serious." He deadpanned. "You said no flinching." I replied coolly, tying my hair back. "I don't flinch."I meant it.I had trained since I was fifteen. My father insisted on it, he said that a Romano woman should know how to break a man's arm before she is old enough to wear diamonds. Over the years, I had taken down five grown men in the sparring ring. I wasn't afraid of strength. I was afraid of weakness pretending to be love. Alessandro stepped forward, his expression unreadable. "Alright, let's see what you've got." We circled each other. No small talk, and no fake smiles. Just the quiet pull of tension between two people who knew to hide every

  • Blood and Loyalty   Chapter 11

Bianca’s POV *2 hours ago* The crowd applauded as I walked towards Matteo. A clear dismayed look on my face made my dad glare at me. He approached me, leaning to kiss my cheek, but instead he whispered in my ear. “Smile wider, darling. Or your father might not be grateful he picked someone who knows all your secrets.” My heart skipped a beat, but my face didn’t flinch. “What are you talking about?” I snapped. “I know the little visits you make. The widow. Her daughter. And the warehouse.” What the fück! No one knows about the warehouse. He steps back slightly, just enough to meet my gaze. “You play rebellion well, Bianca. But in a few months, you will belong to me. And I’ll decide which parts of you are worth keeping.” *back to the present * “That depends on who is asking.” He replied flatly and a shiver ran down my spine. There was something in his voice, too cold, too distant. “Sometimes I think I trust you more than I should.” I said. He steps closer, his eyes

  • Blood and Loyalty   Chapter 10

Bianca's POV After we were done with the shooting, Alessandro took me back home. We got out but neither of us said anything to each other. I went to my room and changed my clothes, as I got ready for my secret routine. A secret I have been keeping for a couple of years. Every month, I visit a rundown neighborhood alon, always making sure that my father never finds out. I got dressed fast and jumped from my window like I usually do. But I was met with Alessandro's face and I gasped. "What the fuck." i exclaimed. "Where are you going, princess?" He raised an eyebrow. "None of your business." I snapped trying to walk past him. "Oh but it is." He smirked getting closer to me. "I think you don't want your dad knowing about your whereabouts." He said. I fidgeted, thinking about telling him or going back to my room. "Fine you can come with me, but you wil have to swear that you won't tell my father anything." I said. "Fine." "Then let's go." I walked past him."Great another adven
