Chapter 10

Elena's pov

I was out of control. My breathing skipping out in a raspy motion. I ran. I kept going, only looking back between few meters to glance back for any trail of a person or the scent from an approaching figure. There's no way I could stay back without my conscience buldging me. I did- I betrayed him.

He was kind enough to save me and even brought me to his home. But what did I repay him with? I saw a letter that could have came from someone who wants to hurts him or I, and instead of telling him, I let my insecurity get the best part of me so much that he had to find out himself. I don't know but, I feel like a betrayal. A backstabber.

I know there's no way I could still stay under his roof after that and still be able to face him, all day in and out. So, I ran.

Where to and how to; I know not. All I see is the dire need to escape. Damn, I feel so ungrateful.
