CATHERINE'S POV
Five years later...
"Mommy!" Charlie jumped inn my bed enthusiastically. Sighing, I buried my head under my pillow. I was lying on my back, face away from my son who was still jumping on my bed up and down restless.
"Mommy wake up! Wake up!" Charlie abruptly pulled away the thick warm blanket that was covering my upper body, only to jump on my back the very next second. Now I could tell he was holding that big dinasour toy I bought him two weeks ago as he was practically trying to assault me by hitting its head repeatedly on my back.
I didn't make any slight movement as I waited for Charlie's next attack. He continued hitting me on and on and on whereas I glued my eyes shut, secretly enjoying the pup's attacks on my body because it oddly felt like a relaxing massage. I needed this, I tell to myself.
