Chapter 140

CATHERINE'S POV

My breathing was heavy. I felt my eyes darken as Midnight clawed in my mind, begging me to let her out. She wanted to rip that woman's throat apart, her body into pieces. She wants to see her eyes lose their light, her breath vanish into thin air. I growl thunderously, and it startled every one of them like they haven't heard me growl before. My eyes turned dark, unable to speak, unable to move, unable to clear my mind as I saw black fog completely cloud my eyes.

I felt my claws extending, and despite feeling the slight pain from my labor I didn't give a damn. Small warm hands suddenly gripped my thigh. I looked down at the small creature I couldn't make out quite well in front of me, growling fiercely. I can feel how my body shook uncontrollably and I didn't know what else to do. Raya pushed the dark mist clouding my mind down in the darkness inside of me, as if forcefully and Midnight snarls. She was the monster in me I didn't know
