AMELIE

The door had barely clicked shut behind Matteo when I collapsed backward into the sheets, dazed and limp, my heart still sprinting a marathon inside my chest.

I wanted more from him, but right now this was enough.

I barely had time to register what just happened—what almost happened—when the door slammed open again.

I bolted upright, clutching the blanket to my chest like it was armor.

My eyes met with a pair of familiar ones, glaring at me like she waited for an explanation.

“Liana!?” I shrieked.

She stood in the doorway, arms crossed, eyebrows somewhere in orbit.

“I see someone walking out of your room,” she said slowly, eyes narrowing, “and he is not Nico.”

I froze.

Shit. Shit. SHIT.

She saw him leave. Shit.

“And don't you even think about lying to me. Cause girl, I see exactly what you look like right now and I won't believe anything you say.”

My mind scrambled for a lie, an excuse, a diversion—but all I could muster was the pathetic truth.

“…It was Matteo.”

Liana blinked

  • Bound By Blood: The Step-Brothers' Temptation   Bleeding

_Amelie’s POV_I wanted something to take my mind offf things, but instead what I got was the person who started all this. I found him in the study. Not his bedroom. Not the war room. The study.Of course. He had a drink in his hand and blood on his collar. His sleeves were rolled, his expression still unreadable.I wonder whose blood that is. I thought as I took a step towards him. He looked up when I stepped in.He wasnt surprised to see me there. So he didn't say a word to me, eyes boring into my back.Oh sweet. I shut the door behind me harder than I meant to. My palm stung from it.And Nico just watched me.This was a moment to give him a piece of my mind. I thought to myself, taking a step towards him.But then I stopped. What was the point of questioning him?And for a second—I almost turned around. Almost walked back out and let the fury chew me up in silence like I always did.But not this time. Not after that ballroom. Not after Gabrielle had given me that look like she

  • Bound By Blood: The Step-Brothers' Temptation   Just the beginning

Amelie’s POVNo one told me about the party.Which, considering this was the Morreti estate, probably wasn’t an accident.Well, I had been avoiding all three brothers, feeling guilty after my talk with Liana. And the look Nico had given me the next day told me he knew something. And that made me even more guilty. I got the call from Liana barely ten minutes ago: “Get dressed. There’s something going down at the west wing ballroom. Now.”She hung up before I could ask what exactly was going down.I thought it was drama. I thought something had happened. She could have given me a heads-up about what to wear. But she didn't. So I ran. Threw on the first thing I saw—a black blouse, slightly wrinkled, and jeans that still smelled faintly of gun oil from the range.Big mistake. When I walked into the ballroom, the silence was so sharp I could hear the click of my heels.Every head turned. The room was a live wire of silk, leather, polished shoes, and sharper smiles. Dark suits. Flashin

  • Bound By Blood: The Step-Brothers' Temptation   Wait for you

Amelie’s POVMatteo’s mouth was still on me, soft now, slower.Like he didn’t want to stop.Like he couldn’t even stop, even if he wanted. His tongue dove into me, licking and eating me out like I was a lollipop he couldn’t do without. I was shaking. From the pleasure, the shock, the realization that Matteo—silent, brutal Matteo—was on his knees like a man who had just found salvation between my thighs. His fingers dug into my skin as he pressed his face against mine, taking me down to oblivion and bringing me back. Tears streamed down my face, moans falling out of my lips like desperate prayers. When I came, it wasn’t quiet. It wasn’t pretty. It was raw—an ache ripped from my chest, a cry that sounded like his name, a surrender I hadn’t meant to give. But Matteo didn’t move. He stayed there even after my thighs trembled around his face, even after my hips bucked and stilled and my lungs remembered how to breathe again. He waited until I was done before he lapped up my juices, bri

  • Bound By Blood: The Step-Brothers' Temptation   Starved

AMELIEThe second his mouth crashed into mine, I forgot how to think. It wasn’t a kiss—it was a warning, a confession, a breaking point. My brain short-circuited, and everything else went blank. My knees nearly buckled as his hands gripped my waist, yanking me against him like he was punishing himself for needing me this badly. My chest collided with his, breath catching between our mouths as he kissed me harder—like he wanted to erase the space between us. My body reacted before my mind caught up, desperate and reckless, opening for him like a secret I’d kept too long. His mouth tasted like fury. Like a restraint that had snapped. Like everything he’d buried until now.And God help me—I wanted more of it.Matteo pulled back just enough to look at me. His breathing was uneven. His eyes, wild.“You don’t even know what you’re doing to me,” he said, voice like gravel, wrecked with restraint. My skin flushed everywhere at once, chest heaving as my fingers fisted in the front of his sh

  • Bound By Blood: The Step-Brothers' Temptation   Fuck this

AMELIEThe car ride back was silent, but something about it felt… off.Actually, I had been feeling off right from the restaurant, like someone was watching us. But each time I searched around, I saw nothing. I couldn’t explain it—just a flicker in my chest, a whisper in my gut that twisted beneath my ribs like it knew something I didn’t.Nico had driven with one hand on the wheel and the other resting loosely on his thigh. Relaxed. At ease. Occasionally, he’d glance at me like he was trying to memorize my face. But I couldn’t focus on him. Not fully. Not when I was sure we weren’t alone. The feeling had followed us out of the restaurant.Right as we pulled out of the rooftop venue, I caught it. Just a flash—quick, cold. A pair of headlights cut off down the block. A taillight I could’ve sworn I recognized. Something I saw one of the triplets use a lot.But I didn’t say anything. What would I even say?Hey, Nico, I think your brother’s stalking us?Right. That would go over well.Sti
