Chapter 4

Alexander's POV

We were sitting in the kitchen waiting for our mate to come , so that we can talk to her about the trial of her so called previous pack, while having breakfast that she made for us.  It was a great feeling to have something made by our beloved mate especially for us . Soon we  heard footsteps approaching and as soon as we turned our heads towards her , our mouths were left hanging . She looked absolutely ravishing but before we could say something she spoke and her words shocked us more than her looks . 

*Rose :  Do I look good babe ? 

Alex : *coughing* what did you say ?

Rose : do I look good babe ? 

Xander : you look absolutely ravishing baby

Xavier : absolutely precious baby girl

Alex : you look great kitten

Rose : thank you . 

Alex : what happened upstairs ?

Rose : nothing why ?

Alex : you called us babe .

Rose: do you not like it ?

Alex : it was just sudden 

Rose: ok . Well when I was upstairs , I decided to give this bond a chance like normal mates because I don't want to lose something so precious as mate bond that too with not one but 3 extremely loving and caring guys, and since you all have nicknames for me so decided to give you guys one .

Xander : so you gonna call all of us babe ?

Rose: depends

Xander : on what ?

Rose :  I don't know..... my mood maybe .

Xavier : I love it .

Rose : great . So what we gonna do now ? 

Xander : We are going to start preparing for the ceremony .

Rose : Ceremony ??!!

Alex : Your pack joining ceremony and Coronation . 

Rose : together ? 

Xavier : yes . But before that you will have to go with us to the royal Court.

Rose : Why though?

Xander : a trial against the alpha, luna, beta and beta is going to be held .

Rose : and for what reason ?

Alex : because they treated a pack member with such harshness  , didn't inform the elders and the royals about this . Instead they encouraged such behaviour.  Today it was you tomorrow it could be someone else and so we decided to remove them from their positions .

Rose : though I don't have much expectations but since you guys want this to happen I will go with you .

Xavier : oh ok . 

Rose : let's go then?

Xander: yes.*

In the Royal Court

Rose's POV

We soon reached the court and upon our entrance many people bowed as a courtesy to the boys . As we walked to the front all the people behind my miseries for years could be seen in a row . After taking a look at them I took a look at the people who would be the judges for this case . And that one glance had me drowned in many emotions.  Because in front of me was my uncle,  the uncle who was the best friend of my father , one who had always protected me and also the one who has been my only support until now, physically and emotionally. 

My eyes were burning with tears but the look in his eyes gave me a clear message.  Any wrong movement could cause me my everything.  Understanding this I did not show any emotion.

Soon the trial started and I was brought to the podium and asked some random questions  . To which I replied easily and then suddenly one of the elders asked my name . And to introduce myself properly.

Rose : I am Rosalia Alexandra Davis  , daughter of Alpha Ezra Davis . The Alpha of Scarlet Rose Pack,  who was killed 12 years ago along with his mate during an ambush from a neighbouring pack for power .

Elder 1: why should we believe you.?

Rose: there is no reason for you to not.

Elder 2 : the trial has been done and after hearing both sides and witnesses , the court has decided to strip the accused from their position and to be executed in private for their treason against a pack and its true heir , along with maltreatment of a pack member . Head warrior Cage and his mate will be announced as the new alpha and Luna of the pack on the same day as the coronation of the Kings and Queen .

Soon they were taken away and the judges left their seats came in front of us . But before anyone could say anything,  I saw him , my uncle Alpha King Giovanni Russo , open his arms and give me a small encouraging smile and that’s all it took me to run into his arms to fulfill the craving of a fatherly warmth that I missed since last 12 years.

A.King : oh my sweet . I am so sorry , I am extremely sorry I couldn't save them  and I am sorry for not being able to come for you .

Rose: Papa , you don't need to be sorry it was not your fault you were tied down by your duties and your promise to dad . And the past doesn't matter now . What matters is that you are with me now .

A.King: of course,  and I am not letting you go anywhere . These boys of mine are lucky to have you as their mate . If they Don't behave just come to this papa of yours and I will take care of them.  Ok?

Rose : yes papa.

Luna.Queen : oh my ! It's true my baby has come back to me . Oh my beautiful Rose I have missed you so much my love .

Rose : mamma.  I missed you alot . I am glad to be back. 

Xavier: you all know each other ?

L.Queen : you remember your bubs ?

Xander : of course.  It still feels weird that she just suddenly just disappeared into thin air .

A.King: Well she is back

Alex: where ?

A.King and L.Queen: your mate is her . Your then bubs is now your Rose.

Evening

We just returned back to the house from the guys' office and everything is set for the ceremony.  Tomorrow I will go with mamma for my dress selection  and then to spa for the ceremony that will be held tomorrow at night , as it is full moon . And due this hectic schedule for tomorrow we had an early dinner and slept earlier.

DAY OF CEREMONY .

Rose's POV

I am getting ready for the ceremony and I am really nervous with all types of negative thoughts going around my mind  . Like what if the pack doesn't like me , what if I fall etcetera .

2 hours are left before ceremony and I am getting ready with the help of the hairdresser and makeup artist sent by mamma .  I am going to be escorted by Isaac the beta of the boys. I met him yesterday and he is a great guy . I almost felt as if I saw my brother in him .

When I looked at my reflection I was left staring cause I couldn't believe this is me . I looked so changed from what I was 4 days ago,  though makeup and the dress was new look on me but the glow on my face, the happiness in my eyes,  and the smile on my lips is something foreign for me after the death of my parents . And today I just hoped that the pack accepts me and that this would now officially be a new beginning for me .
