I pulled up to his private house, counting my steps in, the dread washing through me.

The moment I got in and he caught sight of me, he picked up an object and tossed it straight at me.

“You bastard, what have you done?”

“Please let me out.”

“Hear you out? Did you just say that I should hear you out?” He scoffed, looking away.

“And here I was thinking that silly bitch was just being stubborn for no reason, but in reality, you were using your hands to destroy everything that I…” He paused, tightening his fists. “…that I was working hard for, huh, Michael?”

I put my hand out, an attempt to calm him down. “Please hear me out, just please calm down and hear me out.”
