The changing
When Lisa woke up again it was dark outside. She had no idea what day it was or how long she had slept. It was like she was hibernating. She turned towards her left and found, Ruben lying on his back with his arms over his head. She sat up and peeked at him. He looked peaceful and relaxed. It was very different from the Alpha male look he showed while awake.
Suddenly, she wanted him, needed him desperately. He smelled divine, of musk and wood, freshly cut grass, the earthy scent of the first shower of rain. Funny, he had never smelled that way before. Or was it due to her heightened sense of smell? She also realised that the room was dark yet she could see clearly.
"Take him," a voice spoke in her mind.
She didn't know where it was coming from and she didn't care. This male was here and she was ready for him. Slowly and quietly she pulled the sheet off Ruben and was delighted to find him naked inside.

They didn't have much to do as most covens were self-managed, the elders just made sure that the vampires were following the laws and not endangering their existence.
