Lisa's pov
I stood in the large living room of our family mansion in New York City and waited for my mother to come home after her long time away in Greece. My sister sat next to me on the couch and turned to me with a grin. "Do you think Mom will bring any gifts from her trip?" I smiled back at her and said, "I hope so. She always picks the best things for us." My brother leaned forward from the other couch and added, "I just want to hear her stories about the beaches. I missed her voice around the house every day." My other sister laughed and jumped in. "Yeah, me too. And maybe she will tell us about all the food she ate. Greece sounds like heaven." We kept chatting like that, laughing and guessing what Mom would say first when she walked through the door. Then the front doors opened with a loud sound and my mother Julie walked inside with a wide smile on her face. She looked happy and relaxed from her vacation, but she was not alone. A tall man with broad shoulders walked right beside her and held her hand tight. My mother laughed softly, "Hello everyone. I want you to meet my new husband, Erin. We got married in Greece and I could not wait to bring him home to all of you." The diamond ring on her finger sparkled under the lights. My brother stood up fast and blurted, "Mom, are you serious right now? You just got back and you brought a husband with you?" My sister jumped in right away. "This is such a big surprise, but he looks nice. Tell us how you met him right now." My mother pulled Erin closer and told us, "He swept me off my feet during my first week in Greece and we knew right away that we belonged together." She turned to me next and asked, "Lisa, what do you think, sweetheart? Do you like him?" I stepped closer to them and my voice came out sharp. "Mom, why did you bring this man into our home without telling any of us first?" She looked confused and asked me, "What was wrong with me, Lisa? Do you know Erin from somewhere?" I glared straight at Erin and told him, "You need to leave our house immediately." My brother said, "Lisa, why are you being like this? You never act this way toward anyone." My sister added, "Yeah, you are scaring us now. What is going on?" Erin just stood there and smiled slow at me. Then he spoke for the first time in a calm voice. "It is nice to meet all of you, especially you, Lisa. I have heard so much about you from your mother. She says you are a very successful lawyer now." My mother pulled me to the side and spoke to me in a calm voice. "Erin is part of the family now, Lisa, and I need you to give him a chance for my sake. This marriage means everything to me and the wedding will happen soon right here in the house. Please be nice to him. I do not want any fights." I told her, "Fine, Mom, I will try, but I do not like this at all. Why did you not call us first?" She hugged me and murmured against my neck, "Thank you, sweetheart. That is all I ask. I just want us all to be happy together." We all sat down for dinner a short time later. My mother asked Erin, "Tell them about the day you proposed to me." Erin looked across the table at me and began, "I took her to the best beach at sunset and got down on one knee. She said yes before I even finished the sentence." My sister clapped, sounding annoyingly giggly, "That is so romantic. Tell us more about the beach. Was it beautiful?" Erin nodded, "It was perfect, just like your mother." My brother asked, "Erin, what do you do for work?" Erin shrugged, throwing slow dark glances at me, "I run several businesses in the city and I plan to take good care of your mother. You do not have to worry about that." I turned to my mother and asked her, "So when is the wedding exactly?" She smiled and said, "In three weeks, right here at the mansion. I want all of you to help plan it. What do you think about the flowers, Lisa?" My palms melted with sweat but I managed to gather the courage to respond, "Here? Why here? I am not happy about any of this." My brother laughed nervously and said, "Come on, Lisa, give the guy a break. He seems cool." My sister added, "Yeah, tell us more, Erin. How did you know Mom was the one?" Erin glanced at me again, everything about it was slow and deliberate. He went on, "When I saw her, I knew I had to have her forever. She makes me feel things I never felt before." My mother blushed, clinging more to him, "Stop it, Erin. You are making me shy in front of the kids. But I love hearing you say that." I turned to Erin, "Do you plan to live here in the house with all of us?" "Yes, if that is okay with everyone. I want to be part of the family," He answered almost immediately, it made me look at him suspiciously. My sister chipped in, "Of course it is okay. We need a man around here again." My brother added, "Yeah, and you look strong. Do you like sports?" Erin smiled, "I do, and we should watch a game together soon." I stayed quiet but every time our eyes met I felt my body react. My nipples pushed hard against my blouse and heat built between my legs. The way my siblings related with this man like they had known him all their life triggered me. After dinner we moved back to the living room. My mother nudged Erin, "Darling, tell them about the boat ride we took in Greece. It was so much fun." Erin laughed and said, "Your mother got seasick at first but then she loved it. We danced on the deck under the stars. I didn't think I was going to have a thing for star dancing until I met your mother, she opened my eyes to a lot of things." My sister was already daydreaming so she itched towards me and muttered, "That sounds amazing. I wish I could have been there." "Erin, do you have any kids from before?" My brother chimed in again, his relentless questions caused my stomach to twist. Erin was loving the attention. "No, but I hope to be a good stepfather to all of you." I was beginning to choke. The laughter was doing a serious number on me and I was on the verge of losing it so I turned to my mother and whispered, "I think I need some air." She glanced at me to be sure that I was feeling okay, "Okay, sweetheart, but come back soon. We still have to talk about the wedding cake flavors." I excused myself and went upstairs for a few minutes, then came back down. Erin stood close to my mother in the corner of the room with his hand resting low on her back. He leaned in to whisper something to her but his eyes stayed locked on me over her shoulder. My mother mumbled, "Erin, you are too sweet. I love you." He kissed her cheeks, "I love you too, Julie." The evening finally came to an end and everyone started to head to their rooms for the night. My mother hugged me tight and whispered, "I hope you will try to get along with Erin for my sake because I need you here until the wedding." I promised her, "I will do my best," even though I knew it was a lie I told to keep the peace. Erin stayed behind in the hallway as I walked toward the stairs and he caught up to me quietly so no one else could see. His body moved close enough that I could smell his scent. He leaned in so his mouth was right next to my ear and his voice came out low and rough. "Careful, little lawyer. You are dripping for the man who is about to fuck your mother in the bed I once fucked you in."Lisa's pov:The worst thing that could have happened just happened.Because how in the world was Erin given my case handle? Who gave him the right to do that?My hands flew up in anger. “What? Who said you could take it?”Erin chuckled nervously. “Well, it's a good case to begin with. Plus, I could help you—”I put out my hand to him. “I don't need your help. I never did and I won't ever need it.” I told him firmly. My fists formed, they were dying to dig into something. Was there ever going to be a day where I won't have Erin coming to take something from me?The only person who could have had a hand in this was Bruce. Those two were really moving suspiciously and it irked me that I couldn't do anything about it.“Erin, you—” Before I could say anything, Erin's attention was caught by one of the investigators. I watched in frustration as Erin grinned while he was being pulled away.He was enjoying. How could he? I already had Bruce to deal with and then he came to add to it. At thi
Erin's pov: A part of me knew that I'd regret what I did but I wasn't ready to back down, not now that everything was finally falling into place. Letting Lisa's words rain over me again as I washed my face in bathroom sent icy chills into my bones I'd be fucked if I said I wasn't dying to apologize to her with a kiss. I badly wanted to kiss her and let her know that I wasn't a moving mad man. At least not the way she thought I was. Julie's arms wrapped around me, her face came full in the mirror making me see her clearly. She had this smile on her face that made me think twice about it. I chuckled. “What are you so happy about?” I rang a comb through my hair, letting her fingers make impacts on my chest. She shrugged. “Nothing. I'm just happy for you darling.” I smelt it fishy. She came to stand in front of me, pressing herself against my chest this time. Every move was deliberate because my dick was beginning to stand alive. How I haven't been able to resist her?
Lisa's pov: The sun pierced through my eyes, causing me to snap them open. My head was met with a nasty headache, one that only a couple hours of rest could get rid of. I looked around and found an empty bed space with just me in it. He was gone. And so were the memories of last night. I raised the blanket to find myself half covered in my strapless dress. I was glad that I wasn't naked at least, that would shatter my morning. So I wasted no time, freshening up and leaving the room. Luckily for me, I was led to a backdoor and from there, I was able to find my car and drive back home. There was no way that I'd be taking the front door in the morning. That was too much risk and I reminded myself to never take it again. I got home and walked into an atmosphere that was thick with excitement. My body felt extremely weak but I still managed to stand properly. “Lisa!” Mum was the first to act giggly. She warmed my body with a hug, which was super weird because mum was never a hugger
Erin's pov:My mind was blurry all day. After Lisa had threw to leave, I knew I needed to call in the Calvary and I did, but sticking around the o find out what her answer was, especially after she had sent her siblings out wasn't going to be worth my time.So I got busy.Brandon had called to inform me that Bruce was finally at the club and I saw it as my chance to finally get out of the heat. We had settled into the some seats, letting the club heat reach. Bruce's attention was easily caught by the girls Brandon had set up there. We knew there was no way he'd give up confidential information without wanting something in return. That bastard.I had set my eyes ahead and caught sight of her. Lisa. She walked in with Megan by side and I instantly lost all sense of concentration. Brandon noticed this and tapped me back to life.“Did she follow you here?”I turned to look at him. “Follow me? Why would she do that? Would she could possibly gain from it?” I knew I sounded stupid for sayin
Lisa's pov:“Come on Lisa. You really think moving away will do any good?” Erin's voice followed behind me as I marched the steps into my room.I had had enough of him and his mind games. How dare he refuse to help me and still expect me to stick around? With how much I had hated him, I was willing to take everything I could with his presence. Every secret, every evidence, anything at all. Fucking mister. He thinks he can turn me down and still make me stay here. I'm leaving and they will fucking need me soon.I took out my luggage and began to pack, putting in everything I could lay my hands on.I had packed for a few minutes and I was so close to zipping up my bag when I heard whispering outside the door and a knock followed.Actually, two knocks. When I opened the door, I found mum and my siblings standing outside it.“Oh God” I grunted, holding the door half closed. “Who asked for a pity party?”Nina's face was wearing a frown and Tom wasn't looking entirely pleased by it.Nina st
Erin's pov:I had raced to a bar like an animal after I had left Bruce's office. The look on his face stayed permanent in my head, giving me the satisfaction that only I knew how to derive from him.Brandon had called me out minutes after I was gone, so by the time I had gotten to the bar, he had beat me to it.I had walked into the bar and found him isolated in a corner of the room, one table to himself. “Did it go well? The look on your face says it did.” He gently picked up the glass in front of him and filled his mouth with its content.“Well” I grunted, settling myself into a chair in front of him. “The bastard tried to use his blabbermouth.”Brandon's brow stood up. “Let me guess, you kicked his ass?”“More like broke his nose.” I corrected, causing Brandon to snicker.“Jesus. Erin. Are you still that violent? I thought those eight years away did some good on ya? Or you traumatized your therapist too?”I shook my head. Being forced away for eight good years wasn't enough to do
Erin's pov:I shouldn't have stopped to look. But who can deny setting his eyes over a build like hers.Damn.“What if I come in right now and show you that I can have it however I want?” I called after her, knowing that she wouldn't give a fuck about what I said. And to my word, she didn't. She di
Lisa's pov:Bruce’s hand reached for mine again, disgust fills me in and I slap it off.He tried to laugh about it, “You can't be serious. This isn't some baby case where you can come and act like some superman.”“Exactly why I asked you to prepare for it. Some baby cases needs moments like this wh
Erin's pov:I hadn't seen Lisa anywhere in the house. When I asked Julie, she said something about her disappearing after a call and my guts didn't sit so well with it.Whoever that had called my Lisa had better not be that bastard, Bruce. I still wondered how they got together and how Lisa had all
Lisa's pov:My legs ache from the impact of Erin's fingers inside me. If I had a dollar for every time I said I'd resist him, I'd be a millionaire by now.Because there was no way on earth that I would be able to get over him completely when he was always hovering over me like that. So I decided to
