Chapter 21

I watched Jacob arranging his purchases. If only I could stand, I would help him fix it. I stared at his back, wondering while he was left behind. He is a responsible person, caring and perfect. if he just goes to our place, the girls will definitely fall to their knees to chase him.

"Aren't you going to rest?" he turned holding a bottle of wine.

"I was going to rest but I want to take a shower first."

He stopped and rubbed his forehead. "I'm sorry. I didn't think of that," he apologized then scratched his head and thought. "Who should I call?" he talked to himself. "Right!" he exclaimed then flicked his fingers in the air. "Remember Kristine?"

"Kristine. The little girl?" I asked with a frown. "Why her?"

"Eeryone is busy and they have their own work. Don't underestimate Kristine. Even though she's young, she's strong."

Jacob did call Kristine. After awhile someone knocked on the door. "See? She's even fast," he laughed then went to the living room and opened the door. I followed
