The next day they got up from the bed they shared that was warm to go and get the twins for their morning feeding. He wasn’t looking forward to having a long day with them again. Not that the boys were any part of the problem. It was going to be just a difficult day. Deanna would be going back to the hospital to see the two other boys today for the first time. Max knew either way the decision she would have to start making would be hard for her to make.
She wanted to take them in. He did as well. They could over look who they were biologically to Deanna. The fact that was holding them back was what the damage could be to them. Not just their problems with the genetics but being in the hole for their entire lives. What they had to endure there could eb the thing that kept them from coming home with the couple.
When they got to the hospital Deanna crawled in the back and looked over the two babies. She knew that they would be waking up again soon to eat so as she checked them for a clean diaper she decided to take a moment to feed them then. Max just watched with a smile on his face as she seemed to be a complete natural when it came to the new found motherhood she now had. As she finished with both he looked up to her face, “That was faster than normal.”“They didn’t want to much this time.” She said with a shoulder shrug. “They as just tired right now. I didn’t want to get in there and see the boys and then they have to eat.”“Makes sense.” Max said as he got out and opened the side door. He took each car seat and put them on the stroller and helped her down as he had the backpack on his back. This
“I am really your aunt.” Deanna said, “I know I look a lot alike your momma. She was my twin sister. Like you two are alike.”“Not momma?” one of the boys asked as he peeked out of the hiding spot. He was confused but he seemed to understand what she was saying.“Not really.” She said as she looked at him. “Drew?”“That what they call me.” The boy said as he scooted out from the table. He reached out his hand and went to touch her face. Deanna smiled at him. She could hear the things Max was talking about in the boys words he spoke. It was almost a lisp but it was more than that. Deanna started making a list of all the things the boys would need. That was when the other boy scooted out as well. The size difference between them would make it slightly easier t
As the two walked outside into the fresh air Max smiled at her and knew that she was trying to come up with a plan in her mind. She just shook her head and then had a look of complete confusion on her face. The adjustment between the two looks had him now confused. He waited for her to tell him what was going on in her mind though before he said anything.“Max as much as I want them and I do. I don’t know if I can really handle them.” Deanna said. She looked up to him and he smiled down at her. They were nearing the van and she waited for him to hand her one of the twins and then climb in himself with the other. He placed them in their holders for the car seats and got out to put the stroller in the back. Though she had tried to do that he just looked at her and then she lifted one of the twins, Riley and the lifted her shirt as the baby started to cry. Max go
They went back to the house that Max grew up in to get the kids. As Max was moving the kids into the van so they could get up into their seats and Deanna would fasten them in the twins who were asleep were taken out and placed in the grass so his parents could at least see them for a bit. Max was watching very closely as his mother kept up closer and closer to the babies when his father would pull her back.“I don’t understand why I can’t hold my grandsons.” She muttered.“Because they are early.” Max said. “They are fine but I want to keep them healthy mom.”“Sure like it is your decision.” She sputtered. Max’s father looked at him with pleading eyes not to get her started. He nodded back. “Everyone in?” Max looked at the back of the van and everyone was in their seats and had began
Deanna was finally relaxing in the car on the way to the house. Max’s phone was going off call after call. He finally pulled over on the road and looked at it and sighed and shook his head. He looked at her and she knew something happened. He looked at it again as it started ringing, “Anderson.”As he sat there his eyes got wide and he paled. So far nothing about anything had made him look like that. He sent a side glance her way and she knew it wasn’t good. He didn’t say anything but he cleared his throat three times and then hung up the phone.“Max?” she asked as she saw he didn’t want to look at her.“Deanna we will talk about it when we get home.” He said as he started driving.“Maximillian whatever it is you have to tell me now.&rdquo
Max looked her over and knew she was thinking clearly. The shock of everything wasn’t all that bad except they had been there just moments before. She didn’t need to know the real details that he had been told about what the boys had done to the nurse in the fifteen minutes they were left alone. The idea that they were still so young but they could work as a pack like that they needed to be put away. All of them. For good. That type of evil and the damage they had inflicted and had inflicted on them would never go away. They were nothing but animals now. Max hoped Deanna never knew the true damage they had inflicted to the poor nurse. He would have to remind everyone who spoke to her to keep it simple. She didn’t need that added to her plate of things her family did but she turned onto herself.Max picked up his phone and called his cousin. He placed it on spe
The night went on and the two finally felt everything was okay with the world. Deanna had relaxed a bit as they filled boxes knowing they would be getting ready for the move though it was a complete move and the movers would be doing most of the packing. As soon as she had the keys in hand they would be moving all the stuff that day and the next. The question Max had was what to do with this house. Deanna shrugged and for the moment they would keep it.Life was changing. She wanted to have a new beginning at their new house. She really didn’t want the things that had plagued her coming to find her in the new place. The lawyer had been a blessing and had kept the whole sale of the new house under wraps and he was the only one who knew the address. She was finally thinkin
Over the next few days everything seemed to move in slow motion for the couple. Though everything seemed fine and nothing was ever really happening except more boxes showed up and more and more of their belongs were in them. Between talking to each other and playing with the kids outside the two adults just needed to relax. When the phone rang for one of them both of them seemed to cringe a bit. However, no calls came in about the case against David and or any other new thing that was found about the Watson’s.Now the weekend was upon them and they were waiting on the group of Akechi’s that would be coming over to spend the day. Neither of them seemed to think they were different though they were the only ones who they had invited over. They were the same as them. They understood things that no one else seemed to want to
